I'm not so optimistic. Humans are creating problems our technology can't solve and our social structures won't address. That's not going to end well.

Sad part about it is we have plenty of able minds to put civilization on a better track. Tech to allow renewables, efficiency, and the this dreaded cost of leaving but elites are just so far out of touch
