I probably don't need one. I bought a nice camera a couple years back. Got into taking pics while I was hunting and fishing.

I've used it to take close up pics and you can zoom in and see them perfectly clear.

This is with a $40 celestron digital microscope that plugs into my lap top.
Very useful tool. It has a small stand.
Fungus Gnat on a tooth pick.

For most splinters & metal slivers (I do a lot of machining) I just use fingernail clippers & take a hunk of skin out with it.

That works every time even if you can't see the sliver.
