Economics aside, I bet the numbers would be near the same if minorities weren't targets of law enforcement and a biased society. I don't know about you, but my white ass has never had the police called on me for, using a restroom, leaving an air bb room with my luggage, buying ice cream, or many of the other unjust reasons to harrass someone for the color of their skin.

Dude, come on...when you're poor you commit crime.

If a group statistically (for whatever reason) commits more crime they're naturally going to be suspected over a group that commits statistically less crime per capita.

Ignore the cases of retarded people calling the cops on black people for no reason, they're just asshole outliers, I'm talking about actual crimes committed.

I'm telling you from first hand experience the first time you are hungry enough to think about stealing food it changes your perspective.

Poor people commit more crime and on top of that poor people don't have the means to defend themselves in the justice system. It's easy for prosecutors to prey on poor people. Plea deals.

It's fucked up.

It has nothing to do with skin color.

You cant ignore them, often they lead to an arrest. My point being if people spent their days calling the police on white people for being white, it would change the statistic, poor or not.
I would argue that whites violate as many laws, but just aren't cited, arrested, or prosecuted at the same rate.

Seems like if you're white and gun down a lot of people chances are you'll be captured alive and if you're of color you get gunned down. I would like to see real numbers on this but to the casual observer it looks that way, and white guys eating their own gun doesn't count.

Except the FBI statistics that show it split up along racial lines that disagree with the statement.

Youre missing what I'm saying though, the long term oppression of black people, etc lead to a higher per capita rate of poverty which leads to a higher per capita rate of crime.

Then as a member of that group you'll naturally be assumed to commit more crime by the sort of low IQ people who become cops, because they don't understand everything is far more nuanced than they can intellectually comprehend.
