I run the air con 24/7 during summer at 24 degrees. Is it me or are our QLD summers getting hotter and our winters getting cooler every year ?

beautiful weather in the south east atm not using the air con at all room gets to 25 degrees... I want it to stay like this

Cheering I got my power bill today and I’m paying 500 less then my last power bill... dogs were not reading my meter and guessing my bills from a previous tenant... from 1150 to 650.. add another light? It’s a good start to the week

It's the biggest joke in Australia at the moment the whole power industry isn't it. When I moved in to this shed that I rent at as a mechanical workshop I was paying $320 per quarter and half of that was just the fee's approx 4 years ago.. This quarter my bill is $1,000+ I think the fella I go halves with might have a grow room out the back haha.

Funny you say that was talking to a few lads at work today how winter hasn't been as cold as normal in our state...weather is all fucked up and changing patterns nowadays

Energy companies are on every bodies shitlist I think... they will bleed you dry if they get the chance... I swear they charge you more in summer too

My bill in summer was 350 that's with a 12 person spa running and 2 beer fridges outside and split system running in the house all day long...this is why I say to the missus now we have a spare room...maybe I should set up a 2 plant 1000wt gavita grow

But that's cos I got solar...5 yrs ago before I got so last 1200 was our average summer bill without indoor growing lol

I think they have screwed up with all the Solar intensives over the years, there are that many people out there with solar these days that the power companies have to increase their prices dramatically so anyone without solar gets royally screwed in the arse, and anyone with solar just gets a mild deduction. My parents got it back in 2010 I think and they are 3 grand in the black on their power bill. Meh in 3 months hopefully my shed will be off grid completely

What strain looks nice... I recently had a plant that smelt like orange syrup in flower not sure what it was but it smelt amazing

its one of my dream beaver x cherry puff girls. im growing a heap out 12/12 to test the strain. i have 2 cuts of this one so hopefully she has potency to back that flavour up

Only thing is with lights on at night is if you have solar it's better to have lights on during day AND run an aircon if needed.
Solar nowadays the savings you get asre mostly from usage when the sun is up

I've got enough batteries to run 20 amps for 12-14 hours minimum once I've got the next lot done I'll have double that.
