Maximum Wage: Limiting CEO Pay

Russia has been out hereditary enemy my whole life. i doubt i would trust them if they fully opened their borders and shot putin in the head in red square.
and that's exactly what it would take for me to even consider changing my attitude towards them.
in my opinion, we should already be sanctioning the ever living shit out of them for their interference in our elections. we should have expelled ALL of them the day it became apparent they were complicit.
the fact that trump licks putin's ass every time he's within tongue range sickens me. our country is being led by a sycophant of the former leader of the KGB.....EVERYONE should be concerned.
Russia has plans to become THE superpower in the world. i'm sure China has it's own plans. if we were smart, we'd promote tension between them, then take out the winner, after they decimate each other.
This is silly and paranoid- exactly how the MIC wants you.

Never forget that Yeltsin was OUR doing.

Maybe we should face up to the kind of shit our intelligence services have been pulling around the world before getting so indignant that they'd do unto us as we've made a habit of doing unto them.

it's been communicated, the new ceo at my company, is there to fix it and beat feet only..solution: did you know employees cost money and you need to take one for the team?
CEO's that I've known call mass firings --- "hard choices". Most often, those hard choices were made because that very same CEO first pushed through bad decisions.

Sounds as if your company as it currently exists is fucked. That "turnaround CEO" you have may or may not save the business for the shareholders but you and your colleagues are viewed as nothing more than an expense. It's also my guess that the new CEO has little knowledge of the details of your business. What that means is -- mass firings without a plan and the workforce is gutted without cutting the amount of work that must to be done to sustain the business and overhead which includes that CEO's yuuuuuge compensation package.

I've seen it before. Mass firings. Then: The already hard working people who fear for their jobs step up and work longer hours. Then: More mass firings. Then: In absence of a plan to manage work after the firings, workers start prioritizing the remaining work and management hasn't a clue what's happening. Next up: some bizzare unintelligible slogan and a consultant is brought in to teach people new jargon such as: "do it right the first time" or "we didn't down-size we right-sized the business" or "the five stages of the business cycle is: (insert jargon here)" or my favorite "we were working smart and we were working hard. What we need to do now is work harder and smarter". (actual quote from a person I worked for)

I'd say good luck but it's too late for that. When faced with similar conditions, my answer was to find another job at a better company. I had to move but it was worth it.

Give the trust fund baby a break? I don't really have to. Just don't stand near the Russian embassy when Putin is having a bad day.

And that land grab in Crimea? Yeah, that doesn't portend any more aggressive actions by Putin. I mean, just because his military spend is 5% of GDP and he's bolstering his military for peaceful reasons, I'm sure it is all a misunderstanding. His puppet Trump is helping Putin dismantle NATO. For all the very best reasons, I'm sure.

Oh, and we couldn't possibly address those social issues you are discussing while Republicans -- who Putin helped put in power -- are in charge. So, yeah, Putin's interference in our elections is just a big nothing burger.
Lol

Stone cold lost your mind, haven't you?

You seem to be dropping into fact free denial as a defense early today.

You really should stop reading that propaganda. It leaves you helpless when faced with facts. Russia under Putin's rule has the eleventh largest economy and the third largest military spend. Putin has already invaded his neighbors in Ukraine and Georgia. There hasn't been very much of a push back and with Trump as his ally, he can expect none when he takes more land away.

True, the last sentence was my opinion but the facts remain that Putin maintains an aggressive pugnacious acquisitive military regime. The erosion of NATO is ominous.

I can understand Trump sucking his dick but Progressives(TM) doing so? Its not as if pursuing the Russia investigation is the reason why Universal Healthcare hasn't been enacted by this congress. Yet listening to you and others of your ilk, you talk as if the Dirty Democrats are using the Russia investigation as an excuse for their inability to convince Republicans to stop dismantling social programs that Democrats initiated. Is that what you believe?

i think the average Russian person doesn't hate us, and i don't hate them. i do hate their government and everything it stands for. and Putin is the figurehead of that government....he's the living representation of the cold war. he's everything we thought we had finally gotten past in the 80s, back from the grave.
he hates us. he wants to not only beat us, but to humble us, and he's coming very close to succeeding. i want him and trump both gone. if they can take Kim with them, all the better

I don't always succeed at it but I try to be careful to say "Putin" or Putin's government or "Russia under Putin" because I agree with you that the Russian people are being led by a despotic ruler. I don't think the Russian people are bad but I do think their leader is.

Lol the notion that you would accuse anyone else of fact free debate is laughable!

You don't listen to anything but your own echo.

Enjoy!

The Russians haven't done anything we haven't done far worse, more often and with many times the casualties.

The sooner you accept that really, the sooner you'll be able to understand the situation as it really is; a nice, think layer of bullshit covering up all manner of American malfeasance and criminal activity, both foreign and domestic.

A meme is seriously the best you can manage?

Pardon me while I bask in your demonstration of superior wisdom... LMFAO

The truth remains that the worst war criminals in the past WWII era are American Presidents.

Why haven't you registered as a Republican yet? You fit in well with them.

Putin must either use that military or cut it. It doesn't appear he's planning on deep cuts.
BWAHAHAHAHA!

Sure he'll cut it- right after we cut ours down from TEN TIMES AS MUCH!

He hasn't threatened the security of the United States- we've spent the last half a decade threatening theirs! How dense can you possibly be?! No need to answer that, you've already amply shown us.

'But Russia!!' is the (pathetic) excuse for our 'defense' budget being so outlandish that we're happy to tell our physically and mentally ill homeless people it's their fault they can't get ahead. Or inside. Or medical care.

We'd rather murder innocent civilians abroad (millions killed since 9/11 and counting!) than help our own citizens.

And then we wonder why the rest of the world thinks we're so unstable.

You do a great job of spewing the corporate fascist line of shit, though. Too bad they don't pay you.

You're just an idiot, useful to no one.
I can't believe we are having this conversation.

Did you notice my posts disappearing?

The ones where they insult me stay up but the ones I post with the same language disappear...
Happens all the time. They clean up any opposing posts that may cause questions to the hysterical left agenda.

And of course if Bucky feels too insulted and can’t come up with a good comeback.

I have been punished once and warned again for bad language. Only problem is I didn’t even use the f word. Just a and d.

The spamming is against the rules in the first place. As long as it isn’t them.

The favoritism has been getting more and more obvious lately.

Seems to be rising in direct proportion to their inability to argue against the Progressive Left viewpoints expressed here of late.

It's as if they're even more afraid of the Left than they are of the Right. In that they mirror the establishment Democratic Party pretty well.
