Well thanks everybody, for another day of civil discourse. Today's topic was: Should the US control it's borders? Why or why not? We got answers that vary. I suggested that it is appropriate to control the borders. I did not have time to express all my thoughts today. Maybe we will return to the topic in the future. Thanks again all. Keep growing.

I believe 18 and up should be consent, those that chase children are usually deranged, or can not hold a adult conversation. Child molestors are disgusting. There has and always will be climate change, man made pollution is not as prevalent as it has been made to be, the earth has had many ice ages, only to warm up again, the last ice age was around the middle ages. Global mean temps have stayed at 53.1, this has not changed, if this does change by even .2% up or down, we will experience a warmup of dangerous proportions, or a cool down of the same magnitude. We are now having shorter summers and longer winters, so while people are buying cooler clothes, I would suggest getting coats. I am amazed that people still believe what the MSM are putting out as "news", trust nobody, suspect everybody, trust is earned, not given.

I've never tried to justify pedophilia, numbnuts. I have a personal and cultural bias against it.

I have tried to justify leaving people who are capable of consenting to something alone if they aren't inflicting themselves on others.

Since you brought it up...you allude to "an age of consent" , why does that vary from one legal jurisdiction to another ? Is it something in the water or is possible that it isn't a universal thing ?

A lot of people were killed by governments in the 20th century. We know how to recognize when the right goes too far to be taken seriously. When they start talking about racial superiority, that is clearly over the line.

How can we tell when the left goes too far to be taken seriously?
