1 fan 2 tents?

Hey guys, quick question. I’m about to put up a 3x3 veg tent but don’t want to buy more ventilation fans than I need to. Can I use my 750 CFM hyper fan as an active intake connected to a Y that will be pushing fresh air into each tent without much CFM loss? The other tent is a 4x4. The idea would to have the Y close enough to both tents that it would only need to push through 1-2 ft of straight ducting right into he tents. Extraction fan will be an 8” 400 CFM booster fan with a speed controller.

You know that you are not getting 750 CFM unless you use perfectly smooth round ducting?
Don't worry about losing a few CFM...
Nor would he need to since he's only using it on 25 sq. ft. total.

@jordanwh, the answer is yes. I've done something similar. Used a single hyper to scrub to small tents. The key is to reduce bends. Try to keep it as straight as possible and don't use 90 degree bends if possible prevent drag. I used the basic ducting and haven't noticed issues but I'm only running my fan at 35-40% right now.

Yeah the idea was to have the tents as close as possible & find a Y long enough to just pipe both end into each tent without ducting. If not I don’t see the duct being more than 1 ft long on each side straight into the tents with no bends.

I plan to run duct between a small drying tent and my grow tent so I can stagger my harvest. 190 cfm, 4" duct; filter->light->fan->out of the grow tent. 6 plants, 600w.
