Solar panel discussion

This guy seriously has no purpose on this site at all except to troll. This is the third or forth post I’ve made this asshole has followed me around on with something rude to say or belittling myself or others. I NEVER MENTIONED ANY SPECS YOU STUPID FUCK. Those specs where mentioned by someone else giving an example but I’m guessing they more than likely do not apply to what I was talking about due to several other factors which we have discussed. I seriously think you just like to argue and hear you’re self talk, I honestly don’t have time for your petty bullshit. Telling people $10,000 worth of solar panels will lower your bill $40/ month sounds like an outright lie, did you just pull that number out of your ass?

Stop being a fucking dumbass. It's posted in bold text in post #7:

How much does a 3kW solar system cost in 2018?
As of January 2018, the average cost of solar in the U.S. is $3.14 per watt ($9,420 for a 3 kilowatt solar system). That means that the total cost for a 3,000 watt (3kW) solar system would be $6,594 after the 30% Federal ITC discount (not factoring in any additional state rebates or incentives).

I'm not being negative, you dumb fuck. I'm stating FACT. You're living in a fucking dream world where you can put solar panels on your roof and drive a room full of fucking 1000 watt HPS lights all day long without paying a power bill.

IT IS NOT POSSIBLE.

And he is LYING because he wants to sell you solar panels.

Tell you what, go all in. Buy all the shit. When you get it all installed and your bill goes from 400 only down to about 360 and you start asking him all kinds of fucking questions about why it's not working as advertised after you shelled out thousands of dollars, let us know what he says.
Holy shit, you answered partly, to bad your facts are wrong and you fail to explain motivation for being against solar. Feel free to make things up though it's a free country. Have fun pretending!

AAAAaaaaand here's reality once again exposing you, @TacoMac as the stupid schill for oil pos you are being in this thread. Go away, spread your bullshit elsewhere. This topic was promising until you polluted it with your bullshit, negativity and ignorance. You have nothing to add here and are putting your character on display. Not looking good.

I'm not against solar, dumbass. Learn to read. I'm all for it.

The problem is that it just doesn't do the RIDICULOUS amount that you people are saying it does. There's a reason that solar isn't widely used: you don't really save anything. You sort of break even in the end and that's about it.

Is it worth it? Well, if you're quite well to do, yes. If you're not, no. Not at all. There is no real monetary savings involved.

This is simply not true. I live in the south west, aka the desert and many people have solar, many more people are adding solar and it is not just extremely wealthy people as there are state and federal grants per mentioned before that can greatly reduce the overall cost and make them affordable for a middle income family. You are seriously just pulling info out of your ass dude.

Guess what, numbnutts: You have no more sunlight at your place in the southwest than I do here in the Southeast. We're both on about the same exact parallel. At best, you might get 20 more minutes of usable light than I do.

Just because it's hot doesn't mean you get more power.

And there are very, very few federal grants anymore. Most have already expired. Not only that, but power companies have also done away with sell to grid incentives. They actually CHARGE you now to give them power or even hook to their grid. That was the entire reason behind Tesla's battery system: it doens't hook to your existing power grid.

Watch less discovery channel and actually research it. As I've said elsewhere, my wife and I did two months of research on it. To knock about 25% off our power bill the system would have run about $35,000 dollars. It would take about 20 years to break even.

Now, that's not really that bad as it also adds value to your home when you sell it DEPENDING ON how old the system is, because the life expectancy is only 25 years, so you'll be replacing all the panels and battery banks at that time to start all over again.

Anybody that's stupid enough to believe that some dude pieced together a system for pennies that knocked 85% off his power bill is a blithering idiot, plain and simple. That has been my point from the outset that you keep ignoring for some stupid fucking reason.

As per the first 5 results on google:

“Where in the world would solar panels be most efficient?

It appears that in the Southwestern states solar power would be the most effective out of the united states as a while. The amount of sunlight and day time that region gets helps power up the panels quickly and efficiently.”

Tell you what, teenager: You want a private room to discuss complete bullshit, make one.

You posted on a public thread. Anybody that wished to comment on the topic is able to.

Grow up. Cry less.

Hmmmm...let's see here:

  1. California - 21,074 MW
  2. North Carolina - 4,308 MW
  3. Arizona - 3,400 MW
  4. Nevada - 2,595 MW
  5. New Jersey - 2,390 MW
  6. Massachusetts - 2,011 MW
  7. Texas - 1,874 MW
  8. Utah - 1,599 MW
  9. Georgia - 1,566 MW
  10. Florida - 1,430 MW

Three of those are in the Southeast, exactly like I said. We have just as much potential for solar as anywhere else.

I’m the “teenager” but you are the one following me around a grow forum picking fights when I’m trying to honestly discuss a topic with others and acting like a know it all when you have clearly displayed your lack of ability to read and comprehend the information provided and partake in a civil discussion. Typical characteristics of a child.

You can always tell the children: they can't make their own arguments, they have to try to make it out like somebody else is making it for them.

Sort of that same "you have lots of friends that do blah, blah, blah" all over again.

I've posted in two threads that you posted in and I'm stalking you?

Pal, I don't give a shit who you are. You're the one mixing up threads and doing all kinds of bullshit and losing your fucking mind, not me.

Get over yourself. You're not important. Nobody cares about you.

I'd like to have a solar conversation and tacofuck shit all over it, conversations over and now I'm just po'd at wasted opportunity. Not really a big deal to me. Just having some fun during morning tea time.
@Tacoass, seriously, you suck.
Is this where I should play my "I'm a veteran" card?
If this was doable we would all be doing it...hell I would kill just to have a $400 a month electric bill , let alone $60

Wahhhhhhhh.

If you bothered READING what I said you'd see that I've talked more about the FACTS of solar, placed LINKS to solar facts and been advocating solar the entire time you fucking idiot.

I care about Iriemedicine, seems a good sort, unlike you, you suck, and are once again proven wrong
With what? You misquoting me intentionally like some sort of half-witted 13 year old?

You've not posted one fact, one link, one single shred of evidence of any kind, idiot.

I’m just saying we are all adults and this is juvenile as fuck, all I wanted was a good discussion on solar panels without any bias and with good information. No need for any toxicity or rudeness I made that very clear from the get go.

No point in debating facts with you, you aren't using any, no point in reading what you have to say after you demonstrated how full of shit you are.
You are just shitting on discussion of something, for whatever reason, you don't like. Gross, and indicative of the type of person you are.
