OK I'll try to make this short

I have a 5x5 flower tent with a 1k hps, I'd like to dbl my flowering footprint so basically a 8x6 type of area just dbl, lol

first problem is I don't think my circuit for the room can handle much more than, (1k,hps, 10h,btu ac, fans and carbin scrubber) I'm running on 2 30 amp breakers but their also connected to other parts of the house, yes I know it's weird af!

so I was hoping to see if it's possible to be able to switch to some type of cobs or qb's and run 2 lights (rather than the 1 hps) and be able to cover twice of the Sq ft. so I can flower more plants at once but still use the same amount of energy without tripping and blowing breakers! I'll gladly get pics of the breaker box and give any info needed! just plz help me and hopefully maybe even sell me on a light setup preferable under 1000$!

You want to watch the amperage of those lights and use that. Can you run new lines and breakers. Each of my rooms has 2 20 amp breakers one just for lights and one for whatever else. It’s imo the safest way to do things.

Yup, dedicated circuit breakers for your grow.
I lucked out here, just took out some electric baseboard heaters et voila 30A 220V circuits ready to go.

Good luck

unfortunately no bc I rent, I basically have to deal with what I got! I can possible not plug anything else onto those 2 30amp fuses! I'm not an electrician and barley know much about it, but I flipped the switches and seen what went on an off lol, and I've figured I can run a few extention cords for my living room shit, to free up one of the 30's if I do the same with the other can I run 2 lights led, cob w.e. idc, just 2 lights that Will cover 2 4x4 areas, and the other 30 would run the ac, fans, and scrubber? could that be done?

Double the space but the same amount of energy? No, 1,000 watts of even the most efficient light isn't going to adequately cover 50 square feet. If running COBs/strips/boards, I would think you would want a minimum of 750 watts per 5x5 (or 6x4, as the case may be).

I’d stick with your 5x5 I don’t want to hear you burnt your place down running extension cords and overloading wiring and setting shit on fire. Work with what you’ve got until you can buy a place of your own.

it's weird how this place is wired I know basics and this place in my flower room two walls each have an outlet for a separate 30, but my living room and another share those 30's if I duck tape close every other access, it's basically 2 dedicated 30 amp breakers!

I want to know the guy that inspected the box. Lord I’d hate to see the kind of wiring they used.

I'm not gunna burn anything down bc I'm never touching wires lol and I don't run much energy anywhere else! one TV ps4, a phone and a few lights that's it! it's nothing to free up the entire 2 30s and get 2 cobs running at about let's say 1600 watts on one 30 buy themselves shouldn't stress it huh?

I'll take pics later if u wanna see?
It would be interesting. You should be good if you can free them up all the way. I fire proofed the piss out of everything. Ran the wires through metal conduit ran big gauge wires. Rather the standard 14/2 with a ground everything I ran was 12/2 with a ground. I over build everything. Just like my greenhouse I’ve been building. It’s been all summer but I wanted everything as perfect as can be. Plus it’s just me and the wife building a 30x40 framed greenhouse.

Well, I'm not quite sure what you're true power availability is. I can tell you this, 1 30amp fuse goes along way on 220. 220 up & double ur available Amprege. Each fixture or ballast will be cut in half.
Maybecim confused but I thought you said dedicated 30's but then say they're split between 2 units? Dedicated would mean going to one thing only.
Aside from all that.
Edited.
Good luck!

If u seriously only wanna spend $1000 to stay around 1000-1200w then you may have to DIY & not have a warranty ect...
