Forcing your ideals on others, makes a person a facist, because they're ideals not moral absolutes.Yeah, I am discriminating against the poor by not giving them a billion dollars so they can harbor the most radical elements in society. You poor thing.
Schuylaar isn't a Nazi, she's racist. All Nazis are racist but only some racists are Nazis. I didn't make her post racist comments.
Just because I think your view of relativism makes you an idiot, doesn't mean you don't need compassion.
For being a party of compassion, it's quite "ironic" you're least compassionate to those who need it most.
The problem is identifying what's moral. Take for instance slavery. Practically no one would condone it now. But that wasn't always the case. We shouldn't retroactively condemn those who did in the past because the issue wasn't settled. Yet that's exactly what your side does.
But that doesn't mean we should take a relativistic stance on slavery. We need to condone the actual practice, but have compaasion those who did it weren't "enlightened" enough.
One day we'll finally realize eating animals is an incompassionate act. Like how cats and dogs are illegal to eat, because we realize they're our companions or for some "pets." But even our "food" have the same characteristics but unfortunately lack the PR cats and dogs take for granted.
When that day comes morals you hold dear are condemned in the future, you better hope my vision of values of compassion come about, rather than yours of judging the past bases upon the present.
