Good quality leds require about 30-50w per sq/ft. Lux is good if your measuring the light from a candle not leds though.

Ok say they recon the sun is 50,000 +Lux on a clear day.. and that is a minimum. 8 hrs of sun a day min..man I need a cone... Sori I'm making it too science-y .. I

Lux only measures light visible to the human eye. You should be comparing types of light with the ppfd (ppf) or PAR of each light.

Honestly that setup is probably wasting so much electricity for the amount of useable light you’d actually be getting. If quantum boards look to expensive for you look at diy options like the Samsung strips (f series I believe is the most popular, but not sure because I don’t use them) or bridgelux gen 2 eb strips (work well and are relatively easy to wire and are what I’m using).

Door is normally on as well covered in reflective sheeting..it's brighter than a lot of setups I've seen on other threads , but I'm going to get more film to make a dome canopy . I'm 150 km from Bunnings and 50 km to my nearest supermarket..don't even have a fucking K-Mart ...just Woolworths and coffee shops coming out Ur arse
