I think papasmurf99 is unto it and people transplanting dry plants and brittle roots.
Hydrated roots would be much more pliable and resilient compared to dry easily damaged roots. Just a thought but kinda makes sense.
Yeah i transplant whenever, straight into new coco light water for 2 days and the off she goes full watering. I'm using intra transfer cups now, so i Germ in coco jiffy > double solo cups with the bottom cut off the inside cup > into 1 gal geo pots with the velcro > then into 8l hempy buckets for 2 weeks then flip. That's the plan anyways nothing gets unsettled the whole way through, gunna run 10 plants each side of my 1.2x2.4

I can honestly say I’ve never had a plant display transplant stress yet! It seems to me like they start kicking right off within the first 24hrs of the re pot. And I’ve noticed that every time. It makes me wonder what part of moving into a more comfortable set up would be stressful exactly? Anyway they’re just my thoughts.

Transplanted this one last night and she was already pretty wide but today she just spread right out. View attachment 4226994

You get big plants out of small pots

Dont bother using the velcro, just tip em like a normal pot, velcro is useless on those flicking things.

you must be gentle when transplanting, mine never show stress either. Looks like some more monsters
I know. This time I’m really going to chop out the bottoms. Like last time I did that, but I was still pretty conservative. I’m going to go hell for leather this time lol cos I’m not going thru that helll of manicuring again!! Very close to 3p took me around a month to get thru I reckon. Tsk tsk
