nah you cant hurt these plants. they just come back with twice as many tops.

as far as method goes just cut it back to where you want the 2 new branches to shoot from, doesnt matter if you are just pinching out the tips like i do or cut off 12 inches it will give you the same result.

I haven’t actually. Ive tried rIce before but not salt. It worked ok but I still had to finish up with pipe cleaner.

get some rock salt. the big chunky stuff. you might still have to finish up the downstem etc with the pipe cleaner but it does speed the process up gettting rid of the bulk with rock salt

Oh PHEW!! Haha I seriously did go a bit wild. Like I actually did forget what I was doing for a min lol. I chopped heaps like 12inch off and then baby tips here there n everywhere too.
Plus they are still recovering from the DE drainage issue so there was heaps of dodgy new growth that looked shit so I chopped .s . (Actually not even sure they’re recovering I flushed but not hard enough I don’t think due to lack of time lately) and haven’t been gojng in much for the same reason so it’s a bit hard to tell. There was an amount of healthy new growth round the bottom.

oh well at least now with all the damaged growth gone you will be able to see if anymore appears

yeah pot has that effect for me after MD always brings it back on.

Samsung don't make the P.C.Bs just the diodes. Quantum Board is just a brand name HLG came up with to market their lights and like most things they are made in China which isn't necessarily a bad thing if companies have the right Q.C procedures in place. H.L.G lights seem over priced to me but you're paying for the brand name and their reputation as a quality product which is fair as long as they keep their standards high. I'm sure there are fittings just as good if not better than HLGs,but there's probably 10x that amount that are no where near as good it just depends if you're willing to gamble.
