And honestly if you look at @Heisengrow setup, I did the exact same system he has, just smaller. You find some of his root porn in this thread https://www.rollitup.org/t/diy-rdwc.972053/

I feel ya.True true I only have a 5×3 area to work with. So trying to stay compact so I figured 5 gl . This is my current set up trying to fit my rdwc in my closet lmao View attachment 4233049
Sounds damn near like what I want to set up lolI feel ya.
I'm working in a 5x5 area in a walk-in closet. 4-17 gal totes along both wall with an aisle. Now try that with one leg...
I've been doing just that for a couple of years. I only do a single grow over the winter to produce my meds so room temps don't get over 85degF. I have always run hydroguard or GFF and no issues so far(knock on wood).Honestly the closet is in my master bedroom with temperature under control. Been running hydroguard and roots are straight . Is the chiller necessary ?
Those are good air pumps, and they get pretty warm. You only need to run one of those pumps. I am running eight 4" air stones off one of those pumps, and I could run more.
