Basically there are 1000 ways to skin this cat, pick one you want to try. Try it, then learn what worked what didn't and keep improving each grow.

Honestly the closet is in my master bedroom with temperature under control. Been running hydroguard and roots are straight . Is the chiller necessary ?
I've been doing just that for a couple of years. I only do a single grow over the winter to produce my meds so room temps don't get over 85degF. I have always run hydroguard or GFF and no issues so far(knock on wood).

Those are good air pumps, and they get pretty warm. You only need to run one of those pumps. I am running eight 4" air stones off one of those pumps, and I could run more.
A fan on it will drop the pump temps down 20-30 degrees. A hot pump is blowing hot air into your water. Two overkill pumps are fighting each other in your setup, and that also makes them heat up because they have more air resistance. Also, 1' of hose on the inlet makes a great muffler.
