You can't flush nutrients from plant tissue,you can only flush salts from the medium to stop anymore being taken up so when guys say they "flush" for the last week they're actually starving the plant.

Flushing won’t do much, you can taper your nutrients down to a very low ec and that will do the trick, if your really worried about salt build up you can use something like drip clean to help remove the salt build up, or harvest your plant when the soil is bone dry
