is this the middle ages?

I always theorized it stemmed from environmental ignorance.

But I can see the jealousy aspect, maybe more so since around 1964 & 1965 when the south (and northern housing discrimination) were beginning to be legally corrected.

Do you ever wonder where Buddha Boi's people stood on civil rights in the mid '60's? I'm thinking on the wrong side of history. I'd bet on it.

I think your insinuation is a false equivalency. People can oppose the idea of government imposed, so called "civil rights" and also not be in favor of racist actions or beliefs.

You will of course fail to admit or address my obviously accurate challenge to your narrow minded wind baggery.

I think racism can be fear based too.

Wherever it is and whatever causes it, it is used as a tool by government to create controversy and make people think that government is needed to protect people from the (insert which ever race here) people who are bad people.

Once people figure out that they're being played we can get to the business of seeing people as individuals and create a more peaceful world.
Hi Rob Roy. Just wanted to thank you for being a slave. Whatever you blathered is really nice and all but the world isn't ever going to work that way. You were born a slave, you will die a slave. And every day you lived you did so with a gun pointed at you.

Winning!

Please don't tell me that you think that if we had no government, racism would go away.
Are you not the same person who believes that a man has a RIGHT to be racist and to discriminate.

Your facetious commentary has some truth to it.

Rob Roy would just redefine racism into "personal liberty". "I don't hate blacks, I is just exercising my personal liberties, I ain't no child molester, I am just bartering for child-flesh".

Since I am a kind and respectful person, I like to think of where my rights end and others rights begin. That makes me realize I don't have any right to force other people to associate with people they prefer not to. I may not like what you ingest or what color you paint your house or who you disallow to come there, but I respect your right to make that decision.

Of course if you have a business, you reap the rewards or suffer the consequences of your decisions. I wouldn't give my money to a person who I had strong philosophical disagreements with and I was aware of it.

I also wouldn't force an unwilling black guy to serve me, like you would.

So if people on RIU asked for you to not associate nor reply to them , you would do so ?

Actually, I would abandon your simplistic world view and see things as they are.

For instance "racism" in a persons mind is different than an overt act of offensive force against a person or their property because you don't like their race. You should be free to think what you want, not free to act out your thoughts if they involve the violation of another persons rights.

You believe, apparently, that you have the right to force people to serve you. I don't.

What's in my mind is the idea that people are individuals all having the right of self determination. What's in your mind may resemble a potato salad with small chunks of celery in it and perhaps some inadvertent potato peels left on by a lazy food preparer.

All depends. Ultimately, I see the "owner" of this site as being the authority here. The rest of us are like lawn ornaments and sometimes the yard gets redecorated.

That's frought with innuendo. If we had no government, we certainly wouldn't have had government sponsored racism which is often the worst kind.

Wait. Saying the economy is really good is a distraction from the fact that there is an insane authoritarian personality right now in the White House. Impeach.
All people that have ever occupied and ever will occupy the White House are authoritarians. Changing the driver of the bus doesn't mean the bus becomes something else.

Racism is racism. Don't matter who sponsors it.
Explain how you would stop a black person from going into a store that the owner did not want to serve people of his color.

Wait you want us to believe that you are opposed to racism?

Might want to stop advocating for racial segregation signs

It’s amazing how fucking stupid fascists think other people are. As if any of us would believe you’re opposed to racism

You stupid fucking pedophile

So you have rules when it comes to who you force to associated with you ?

It all depends. On your property, if I were your guest, I would try to observe your rules. If you asked me not to go to your property, I think it might be because you're afraid I was going to steal your stash of pilfered ladies underwear...but I'd honor your request to leave.

You hid the best ones good didn't you?

See, that's just it. If I wouldn't discriminate based on race, what you're really asking me is what the possibilities of other people who are racists would do. It's their property right?

Racism is silly.

Explain what you would to do a black person who refused to associate with a person he preferred not to. Okay, you won't touch that. So I'll explain it for you, you'd ask government to force him to serve another person against his will.

Back to that imaginary, non existent black business owner?

Years of building your argument and the best you have is an imaginary black guy

If you could put down the bath salts for a minute foreskin biter. I'm not advocating for other people to do anything with their OWN property, like you are.

I believe every person of every race has the equal right of self determination, whereas you would force a black guy (or a white guy etc.) to associate with people he preferred not to.

I'm opposed to the use of initiatory force and think defensive force is a moral option, but prefer people to work things out by sometimes just leaving others alone who want to be left alone. It's not my job to micro manage other people.
