I use it in both personally, moms in soil, girls in hydro. Works better than perfect since I use half the stuff (3-4g/G) for moms. Can it be used for soil or just hydro?
150$ for about 15 lbs dry is what I think it is.I like the cost break down
Interesting info.OK. I have read the long threads about this stuff and I feel I can add info that may be useful to someone. the jist of my post is that some pundit called out another user on usage. apparently @legalcanada continues to increase the feeding (17 x ?)and if I understand correctly the plants will show leaf tip burning. Sounds fucking crazy right?
So, my plants were looking pretty haggard and I made the first mix using 3 times the amount I was supposed to use (accidentally, senior moment). The result is that my plants have become very healthy and only the smallest one has a few tips of leaves showing overfeeding.
I am not trying to recommend doing this by any means but I wanted to post the info to demonstrate how unlikely it is to ill affect your grow with this stuff.
I hear ya!I bought a couple of 5 US gallon water totes with a spigot. Now I can makes 10 gallons of nutes instead of one gallon at a time. I have to place them on their sides on a TV stand (with wheels) to fill them, because once they are full they will be too heavy for me to lift. Fortunately for me that faucet in the laundry tub is threaded to accept a garden hose. Phew!
I water my plants in the tents, sitting in my rolly chair. I have 10" x 20" sturdy plastic drain trays in the tent that holds two pots per tray, tent holds 4 trays. It is a balance act of restricted choice since chronic fatigue sort of dictates what I can do and when I can do it.I am firm believer in making your grow/ flower room easily accessible, and enjoyable to be in.
Nothing worse than getting frustrated and not enjoying your time in the garden, that being said I’ll never grow in a tent again, fucking hate it,having to bend down and water plants, I was pulling them out and watering them on my flood table,as I dtw every time I water,I just picked up a 4x4 flood table this morning,so it will be much easier to water..

ditto...big pumps for fast wateringI hear you and can relate.
For watering I use a hose wand connected to a pump from my giant rez.
I have issues and have trouble bending so this works great for me.
All the planting etc I do on tables so I don't have to bend and go through pain.
I have one of those units too. I used it for epsom salts while I was waiting for the Mega Crop to arrive. It holds a gallon but I find the pumping too tedious and the sprayer too slow and limited. I do the planting on a table as well, so much easier at that height.I hear you and can relate.
