Duel wielding is for video games and movies. Correct grip and stance are vital for accurate shot placement. You simply can’t be accurate while shooting a pistol 1 handed.
I’ve shot a 9mm beretta, 9mm glock, a 22 and a .357 magnum double action revolver. Beretta was the smoothest (to me). Got the body bulls eye 4 times with the beretta from 20m. The glock felt jolty and rough. Got the cheek and nose on the target with that one. The 22 felt like a toy and the magnum had that much kick I don’t think I got the target at all lol.

I went with two older Italian men. One was a speed cook and the other a cop LOL. Best mates hahaha!! Got to buy an extendable baton that day and still have it under the seat of my car to this day;)

If you look hard he still uses both hands, correct stance and (although modified for speed shooting) correct grip.
He does, the second hamd is dragging back across the hammer though, not a normal 2 handed grip.
Check 1.14 where he goes for the 2 balloons (he does a 2 handed grip for the coin toss though)

In theory it’s still being used to steady the barrel of the gun as he actions the gun, but yeah modified grips for speed shooting. Those guys have also spent more time at the range practicing without ammo than most people spend sleeping and shitting.

I’m a rifle man myself. Enjoy laying up taking my time to observe the conditions and putting that round on target. Nothing beats punching holes in paper or ringing steel at 200-500m

I walked into the garage once to find my dad aiming an air rifle at a butcher bird trying to slaughter our finches. I didn’t want him to hit the butcher bird animal lover and all! So I kept saying give me a go just to get it out of his hands. He took a shot at the bird on the fence made it jump but missed. Passed it to me and then I got excited and thought I’d give it a crack. Took a shot and hit the damn bird in the wing and felt HORRIBLE!! The bird sat on the neighbours fence for about 1/2 hour with its wing stretched out trying to remove the pellet with its beak. Fuck I felt bad but a little proud to show daddy up at the same time lol!
