I got one that is dark as fuck..im not sure if its genetic as it looks like nitrogen abundance..its the darkest one ive ever had..the soil has moreclay content than other holes dug and plant have same amendments..usually leaves are shiny with nitrogen abundance but mine aredull as and have a little powdered look .like they are dry...big leaves too.

Yeah I should hit it more. How much do you mix? I mix one scoop that comes with the jar to 10ltrs. The same tiny scoop in the eco kelp powder from bunnings
That sounds about right.
I've gone through about 15Kg of kelp meal already,in the soil mix and top dress,a Kg of Tri Kelp and today I used 5L of NTS Seachange KFF Liquid kelp.
I'm feeding alot at this stage, they've had 2000L of fertiliser in the last 10 days.
Fulvic is essential too,it chelates really well so nutrient uptake is more efficient.

And has anyone grown a plant like the one in the back ground with its leaves hanging straight down? It's not sick or unhealthy it's always had leaves that grow down. Granted the leaves are huge so it could just be the weight
Is it just the leaves pointing down or the branches too? If it’s branches too it could be a creeper mutation. All the lower branches of the shishkeberry did that, headed straight for the floor. Apparently once the branches get along the ground they form new root sites and the plant actually grows like a creeper.

Must be all the foliar feeding he does ay.
I've had to lay of the foliar feeds to help fight leaf septoria that I get each year so I only spray in the mornings now,I only have been giving them a foliar once a week instead of 3 or 4 which is what I'd like to be doing but that's just how it goes.

Humic is good but I use the granules in my soil mix rather than as a liquid, for me it's really just a carbon source,Fulvic is the one I use mainly. Every spray or feed they get from seedling to the time I chop has it in there.

I added seamunges before I toped up the soil last time apparently it has kelp . It takes ages to break up tho.ill hit mine with more foliars

Yeah some of the larger branches do

Seamungus is a good source of humic aswell but I think it's only got a minimal amount of kelp in it. I get 20kg bags of kelp meal from the rural supplies for under $100 but you can usually but it by the Kg for about $6,they sell it as horse feed usually not as a fertiliser
