Am i done with vegging?

lately my plants been pre flowering or showing sex although they are feminized seeds. however when i look at the growth of the plants day by day they don't seem to be growing anymore. i was wondering is this the end of the veg cycle? like once the plants start to show signs of sex i can't get them to re veg?

they haven't even been flipped to 12/12 i usually run them around 19-5 to 24/0 they are photo's as well.

Does this mean it's the end for my vegging or can i continue to run 18/6 and higher?

keep on 24 they gotta keep veggin
so if i just keep them on 24/0 they will just continue to veg? cause idk what it is but they seem stunted like i didn't drastically change anything for the worse besides potting up and turning the fan on a higher speed due to excessive heat

sometimes it takes a minute for them to start veggin again like if I revert a plant hell I've had some take weeks before I see anything changing

well heat and changing pots can stress /stunt a plant but like I said leave it on 24 they will continue to grow plants just don't stop vegging or I have never had one I mean hell I butcher my mothers for clones and in a month I have lots more to take so your be fine

thanks yea idk why they are light this i think it's because i keep dropping the light schedule i went from 24/0 then 20/4 all of a sudden down to 18/6 but i barely run 18/6 tbh maybe once a week i started the plants on 24/0 until maybe 2 weeks ago thats when i start to see the growth slowing down more and eventually just stopping and showing signs of sex but i read they usually show signs of sex around week 6 depending on strain of course. i mean if i can get any type of growth for another 3 weeks i should be fine

yea I don't mess with lights I dew 24/0 I may go 18/6 to save some money once in awhile but if im sexting I just hit it 12/12 get my info and change back to the light cycle I want . I got a veg room and bud room so I just pull plants and change rooms but you keep it on one light time they will veg and def keep that HEAT IN CHECK that will stop growth real quick

yea i think it is the heat. i got new lights but the grow room im using doesn't get much air circulation even with a fan on blast. i need to keep the door open to keep the heat in check plus humidity is high as well too high for flowering but honestly i can't do anything about that unless i blow tons of money on a grow tent + dehumidifier and all that which is just way too much for growing right now.

Do you have a proper exhaust fan setup or simply a fan circulating air?

just a fan circulating air it's on blast and works kinda like a cheap AC as it pushes a TON of air but im using my bedroom closet as my grow room so the door stays shut and i get little air exchange with the door shut with it open i get a ton of air exchange easily reducing the heat but then the light comes out and it's super bright as well. we have an actual portable AC unit i can use as back up as a last resort. but im close to flipping anyways so it's like i might as well see what happens with this grow and fine tune it on my next grow.

as for dehumidifier i need a strong one. my state is extremely humid all year round we get about 80-90% humidity throughout the entire year this winter we were lucky and it was down in the 60's but we also had unusually colder weather then we get even for winter. i dont think the humidity is a major issue for vegging though i think it's the fact it's in a enclosed room almost all day and night with a fan so the air exchange isn't substantial thus humidity does rise.

i am debating on going to the garden store tomorrow and buying a hygrometer.

i did just get the new lights last weekend as well so i think that could be the main issue. i went from a 75w light to a 2000watt light ( not actual draws but you can just tell the difference how high of an actual draw i went up to ).

You need a proper exhaust setup. You need to get that old hot air out more than likely it will drop your RH as well.

yea i do im trying to save money on electrical bills though thus why i went with a cheapy build. im looking on a exhaust set up though but not entirely sure how i am going to set it up in my closet. do you have any recommendations for like a closet grow? i really don't have the space to grow else where i already tried an outdoor grow on my first grow and my area gets very little sunlight so the plants start to flower ASAP buds are okay looking but nothing amazing

If you own your home I’d exhaust to the attic if you have one. The rooms I built simply exhaust outside. Doing it cheap is fine but you have to do cheap correct. Exhaust is number one on my list when designing grow rooms or anything.

we don't have attics or basements in my state idk why but i've been to a lot of homes none have an attic or basement not even the expensive ones. it's not my house either i live with my parents save up some cash plus likely going to inherit the house eventually it's a huge house. i was looking at the exhausts i don't think i will really need one. i run my fan on all day plus my windows are always wide open as well as all the other windows in our house so we get a lot of air flow. it's just that i close the door because the lights are so damn bright.

imma keep looking at exhausts though but i think if i can manage to leave the door open all grow they will actually do better. i don't like to keep it open too because one of the cats keeps gnawing at my plants almost all the leaves are missing the tips because she keeps eating em lol. if i can hook up the ac in my room it would be great temps would be a lot more stable then what i got to work with now.

You are likely doing a few shitty things here. Plants will shut down at temps much above 85. In addition with poor circulation they are no doubt Co2 deficient which will severely slow growth. If you can’t ventilate outside you must use an activated carbon filter and ventilate inside. You pull air through the tent and replace old with new. You can control humidity and temp doing this also.

Plants will not stop growing in veg,
I have a few questions...
Do you PH?
Are you introducing fresh air constantly?
Are your leaves looking flush amd healthy?
Do you have a timer?

Cannabis stores c02 in it's leaves and at "night time" it can quickly and easily replenish c02 deposits within the leaves.

Without fresh air, it is starving for carbon.

If your ph is out of order, it could be starving for nutrients.

What size light are you using?
Some growers use small lights to reduce growth of mother plants so that they don't grow unruly.

Alright man I’ll wait for your next issue to arrive. What are your temps currently. Either way I’d really check on the attic though because unless you live in a mobile home most houses have an attic what do you. Anyway post some pics of these plants in regular light.

trust me i am and im paying for it. temps i can kinda control. humidity not so much i know i will need a strong dehumidifier in the long run. im not growing in a tent im growing in my bedroom closet

1. No i don't PH i used to but i was using the PH strips at first i did it all the time but it kept reading low PH and when i added nutrients it seemed to go up to a range where i liked it. I was also testing a theory i had that our water was fine for PH as i did some research state claims our water runs 7.0 when i tested with strips it wasn't 7.0 it was lower around 6.0 when i added nutrients it was 6.5 after this grow i WILL be getting a PH pen matter of fact i was actually gonna go to the gardening store today to buy one as i do plan to use it for my next grow but hell i can use it now even.

2. fresh air via outside through my windows only. if i am home i will open the closet door for about 5 hours per day then the rest of the day i close it so it does get some air but it's more heavily restricted.

3. besides for all my stupid little experiments i did on this grow like intentionally over feeding they seem alright. they are dark green and showing signs of nitrogen toxicity ( this seemed to stop ) some of the bottom foliage is turning yellow i am lost at whether it is because it is old, it is getting no light, or due to lack of feeding nitrogen for the past few weeks or even nitrogen toxicity ( looks like nitrogen deficiency to me though )

4. yes i just bought a timer yesterday.

im using King Plus 2000watt. tried looking up actual draw for these but i don't see anyone testing the actual draw so im basing it off what i found online which people claim 375, 385, company claims 392. they should still be growing though the plants are only about a 13 inches tall but very bushy from topping and LST
