This season I'm going to try and use led lights on 4 cages to try and make sure flowering doesn't start until the end of February. Tried out some solar lights last night. The 54 led light works a dream . lights up a 7 foot area very bright so I assume it will stop the plants from flowering.
I want to do the same but the grow partner is to paranoid about Alians spotting our grow

Haha I've got 3 different types of lights just waiting for the last 2 to arrive. The ones I'm really interested in trying out are the 16 led hydro solar lights 12 red 4 blue. From the pictures it shows up as purple light . so less obvious outdoors. If they work then I get an extra 4 weeks veg which will be a game changer in the years to come. Plus I'll be able to start the grows around end of July using them

I have 4 spots which are in the middle of saplings about 300 metres from a road . I'm thinking of putting clear purple or blue plastic over the bulbs on the normal led to hide the brightness . like they did at discos with the lights

I wonder if you could hide light underneath or in the middle of the plant if it would still keep it in veg.
