What's Nexit?

Get real, man. Britain is a small country. Having open access to all of Europe gave Britain a great boost up economically. Brexit means going back to being a small country. They have the freedom to do so. That's what they voted for whether the pea brained "leavers" knew it or not, they were voting to shrink their economy. So, yeah, freedom is free and they are free to become a smaller economy. What's so hard for you understand about this?

Of course Parliament balked at shrinking the economy. So, now what?
You keep regurgitating "muh economics". It's not about economics, it's about sovereignty. Britons don't want to be dictated by a foreign entity. I guess that's hard for Americans to understand after years upon years of their social, economic and military policies being dictated by foreign actors under the Israeli banner. Is it time to withdraw troops from Syria? Better ask Israel first. Don't worry, you can always blame Putin somehow.

Parliament rejected May's Brexit agreement because of economics. For good reason too. A 10%-15% contraction in the economy is NOT what the Brexit leavers voted for.

They should reconsider.

There is more to life than cheap consumerism. Sovereignty comes first.
And you're welcome to it.

When you can't figure out why all of your goods skyrocket in price, all of your exports suddenly aren't being bought, all of your jobs dry up and your nation digresses to the 1970's, just remember that sovereignty got you there.

Your entire nation BARELY has the GDP of California.

You're not important. You need Europe. They don't need you.

Dumbass.

If things get bad enough Britons can always take a vacation in Mexico to clear there heads then a quick permanent detour in the United States. No wall and refugees wanted! ;-)

How are you going to afford the trip when you have no income and your sovereign government uses austerity measures to cut cost and you get no pension?
The same way South East Asians, Cubans, Central and South Americans Haitians or Slavs found a way when things get hard enough. One can literally walk into the E.U. from British soil should British airports cease to be an option.

They are paid for as slave labor by smugglers.

So you're willing to sell yourself into slavery for the remainder of your life?

See? You are exhibit A of Brexit proponents: you have absolutely no fucking clue how the world really works.

I know exactly how it's done, jackass. I've crossed the Atlantic more times than I care to remember.

It's you who are the complete dumbass whose only argument to impending hardship is wishful thinking.

Enjoy your upcoming recession, bridiot.

I'm out.

How did that work out for you in ww1 and ww2?
Want to go it alone again?

Rejected on absurdity grounds.

You imply that independent people cannot form temporary alliances with others to derive a benefit.

You imply that people held in political thrall, should be affixed to others to prevent them from being held in political thrall.

There is clearly very much of this world you don't understand. The people who voted for Brexit thought they were voting for BETTER conditions because in their warped minds, darkies, Muslims and Poles (they make no distinction) were taking their jobs away. There is racist shit in there too but they most definitely weren't voting to shatter Britains economy. Turns out that's exactly what Brexit would do and their leadership are balking.

There will be a referendum. Maybe the leavers will win again, in which case, Britain will simply have to live with the consequences. I don't think they will, just like I don't think Trump will last through 2020 for the same reasons. .

Nobody voted for no deal. It’s like being invited to a parachuting party and then informed at the last minute that there are no parachutes and the plane has just run out of fuel

I thought I was done being surprised by your stupidity but you're the gift that keeps on giving.

So James Dyson, billionaire from flogging overpriced plastic machines which eventually kill whales, chief cheerleader for brexit, has decided to move his whole rip off plastic shite biz to Singapore due to brexit concerns, lmao

Other than Germany, the EU actually isn't doing so hot. They're realising they need Britain in it much more than the alternative.

Great Britain's 'leavers' were voting against the fatcats in the City of London who are doing the same wealth and inequality shenanigans as their cronies are in the States. They were indeed lied to about the consequences of their vote, which is why things are in such a mess today.

Another referendum would reverse the first. It's not as if there's no precedent for it; how many rounds of voting did it take to get Britain into the EU in the first place?
