Yes, ask them and yes- which is exactly the point; to the extent they're allowed to do so is the extent to which America is no longer a democracy.Did they all get their money's worth?
Or only half?
If you were that rich, would you try to buy an election? Would you want something in return?
Read the article; the vast majority of the money went to electing Republicans. How many were Republicans?
I know for a fact that Betsy DeVos bought and paid for her position, because she sure as shit wasn't qualified to lead the Dept. of Education.
So you're saying there's a difference because one set of criminals is less effective than the other?Quick question.
You've repeatedly made the point that there's no difference between establishment democrats and republicans.
According to your source, those 158 families, mostly back republicans.
Republicans:138 Democrats:20
If they really are the same, shouldn't there be more parity here?
Agree that Citizen's United should be overturned.http://amp.timeinc.net/time/4069214/2016-election-spending-campaign-finance

Don't even know who the candidates are and you're already attacking the DemocratsSo you're saying there's a difference because one set of criminals is less effective than the other?
He can't even identify who in Congress represent his Socialist ideas yet he calls it a huge movement in America. Last I looked, maybe 6 of his so-called "Progressives" won a seat. In most districts, not a single of his kind of "Progressive" even contested a primary with a liberal progressive Democrat. Liberal progressive Democrats cleaned up in 2018, taking the House and flipping 7 states from Republican to Democrat while holding Governor's office in states already headed by Democrats.Don't even know who the candidates are and you're already attacking the Democrats
YOU MUST REALLY LOVE TRUMP
Wisconsin governor is now a democratHe can't even identify who in Congress represent his Socialist ideas yet he calls it a huge movement in America. Maybe he thinks that repeating the same old falsehoods will work on Democrats like they do on Republicans. Evidence suggests it doesn't. But tty never let a fact get in the way of an argument he wants to make.
He's not a Progressive, so he's a Republican.Wisconsin governor is now a democrat
This will make a difference in 2020 when the Republican lock due to Gerrymandering can be broken.Wisconsin governor is now a democrat

Went right over your head. Think again. So you're saying there's a difference because one set of criminals is less effective than the other?
Republicans in Wisconsin still have those districts. This will make a difference in 2020 when the Republican lock due to Gerrymandering can be broken.
They COULD have given to the clinton foundation.http://amp.timeinc.net/time/4069214/2016-election-spending-campaign-finance

Gerrymandering makes it harder for Democrats to assume control of redistricting in 2020 but I think the Blue Wave in 2018 was just a precursor to the next larger one in 2020. Two years is a long time in US politics at the moment but I don't see Trump and his Republicans doing anything that gains them support.Republicans in Wisconsin still have those districts.
Only thing that will help democrats is republicans will be tied in with Trump
Votes are split about 50/50 statewide. But due to map. Republicans won 60/70 percent of seats.Gerrymandering makes it harder for Democrats to assume control of redistricting in 2020 but I think the Blue Wave in 2018 was just a precursor to the next larger one in 2020. It would take another World Trade Center kind of attack on the US to turn the GOP's luck around. I hope I'm not jinxing us by saying that.
Yep, it's not a fair fight. Soon as we get the chance, Gerrymandering has to go along with the Electoral College and voter ID laws. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic about our chances in 2020 but I think if Trump and his GOP continue their path of self destruction there will be a window of opportunity like we haven't seen since Watergate.Votes are split about 50/50 statewide. Funny how they never tried that vote when they had a majority.Agree that Citizen's United should be overturned.
Did you know that every Democratic Party Senator voted to repeal CU when it came up for a vote in 2015? Why are you so opposed to repealing Citizen's United?
