I keep saying that Bernie is OK, I like many of his policies but overall he is a divisive leader and his policies only affect economic issues and ignores women's issues, issues behind Black Lives Matter and other civil rights issues. Bernie is OK, but he's insufficient.

that article is heavily skewed and purposely vague for shock and awe sake. do i think we live in a democracy? not really, but let me explain why this article is misleading anyway. first off it says 158 families and the companies they control. well these are publicly traded companies and in some cases even commodities or traders, but again almost all exclusively publicly traded. so when a company is publicly traded no patriarch of a single family is donating this money. as a matter of fact it would be just as likely that a company would contribute counter to it's founder as with them. it is a disgrace imo the new york times would even sponsor such utter non journalism, in a an attempt to sensationalize some sorta iluminati BS. only ignorance would lead ppl to think how amazon contributes is how jeff bezos contributes or that all donations from google reflect the beleifs of larry page and sergey brin.

The Supreme Court ruled with Citizen's United to overturn most campaign finance reform laws and makes it impossible to restrict corporations from making huge donations to candidates. In 2015, every Democratic Caucus Senator voted in favor of repealing the Citizen's United ruling and every Republican Senator sustained their filibuster of this measure. Why do you continue to support Republicans?
