US Coast Guard needs Russian backed steel deal for Boats.

If we wait 10 yrs we can just buy them from China.

The American icebreaker fleet is in a perilous state, and not just in moments of high drama.

America has TWO, one of which does more work around Antarctica than in the North. America is 'testing prototype models' to 'possibly begin construction in 2020' although no funding has been secured for any such program.

Russia currently has 41 icebreakers with 8 more under construction now.

But instead America has shut down the government over a wall none of the political leaders along the border even want.

Army minimum score 31
USAF minimum score 36
Marines score minimum 32
COAST GUARD minimum 40

I scored 93 on my first go. I got in after a 99 score and requested infantry. 12 of the 128 in my rifle company had 99. Of those, 9 had GT scores at 132, myself included. None of the 9 were commissioned, one of the 12 was, he was the XO.

Tribalism isn't a solution; it's a tactic. You have to wonder who's using it and to what end? I think it's a tactic to keep people divided against one another so they don't see what common ground they share. Political change comes when people unite around issues; tribalism impedes that process so therefore tribalism is good for those interests who like things the way they are.

That's why I'm sick of the divide between Democrats and Republicans; it's distracting people from the issues, issues constituents who identify with both sides share.
