lol. That looks like a slightly smaller version of my normal winter/spring plants. I may be forced to try autos if my full season's keep rotting in the late summer rains.
yeah I think I planted too late to be honest (november) I'm thinking early September next season will be better and 8 ordered 2 packs of autos so I'll run em again then or maybe start some now and put em outdoors mid Feb? Would it be better now that the days are getting shorter? I know zero about autos

I've never grown them, but from what I hear it's best to grow them in mid-summer when the days are longest. Since they flower no matter the light hours, you get more bud growth when the days are longer and the sun brighter. Bob is the auto guy though. He does a little breeding with them.

Have I said how much I love this, even spidermites I love catching them out before they take hold looking for signs of issues and figuring out what's what, this year has been a real year of growth and maturity for me as a grower, I've learned to identify problems and systematically eliminate what it isn't until I get to the cause and that's something I was never very good at I'd just throw everything it might be at it until it resolved itself not learning anything but being successful anyways. I've always done this because I love it and I really dont make much maybe cover my costs plus a little on top of that but never was for money, from my first grow I was in love with this plant, even before that when I was a kid I was fascinated and grew my first plant at 16
To flower which was stolen from me but the love was always there, and heres the thing i was kinda good at it intuitively without knowing anything I didnt mess up until I thought I knew something lol then the learning curve and now I'm above average but not good I dont think but I can produce some pretty decent buds and where I really shine is my cure I believe that's where the boys are separated from the men anyone can cut trim and dry but the cure is a art that many attempt and very few truly master.

Great you are getting it dialed in. My IPM game is lagging. Outdoors you are going to have bugs, and I've always grown enough that I didn't stress too much over pests. Now I try to spray everything with neem once a week, but that is about all I do unless I have real problems. I spend so much time getting to my patches, it doesn't leave me a lot of time to spend with each plant. Plus I try not to go up in the day. I check them at sunrise or sunset. So often the lighting isn't great when I'm there.

I've thought about fewer, but bigger plants. But I had some found and chopped by the cops a couple of summers ago. And they were not that big. I did have them in the open. Something I have lived to regret.

Bugs dont stress me at all anymore I just roll with it and being diligent and methodical wins everytime. I got hit so hard one year that now I've just become tuned in and can spot them before they even become a issue and that's where experience and pain come into play once you get stung real hard you never forget how bad it can get and I find myself eyeballing my plant everyday and can see the tell tell signs from that experience which is super helpful to my overall result.

No doubt. In the winter/spring crop of 16-17 one of mine was wrapped up with spider mites. I didn't check them in the daytime because they were right out in the open. Only found them on chop.

My easy to get to patches get checked on once a week. Some of the far out ones is more like once a month. I call it Darwin Dope. Survival of the Dankest. The trick is to plant 2-3 times as much as you want. The last two years I haven't done good with that kind of patch, but I have got 4-6 Z's per in a 12 plant patch with minimal maintenance. Weather, grasshoppers, etc, etc, have a lot to do with how they turn out.

Guerilla grow is a different animal altogether get caught walking around with a sprayer and your charged for every plant within 5 miles but theres something special about guerilla buds growing in those stressed environments.

I plant a few peach trees in my woods. And talk about them a lot.

But my patch did get found two summers ago. They knew it was mine, but didn't come knocking on my door. They chopped one patch and left another in place. I was afraid it was a trap, so didn't go back until they were dead. Small towns and every one knows everyone else. I could tell it pissed off a few of the rank and file, but the sheriff never had a cross word for me. It has fucked up my freedom of movement. I've stayed away from the patch that got chopped, and it was one of my main locations. I might go back in there late this coming summer.

Had a mate drop seeds at the local walking trails and there were literally plants every 10 20 yards they all got chopped but the pics were epic got about waist high before anyone took notice they blend really well in the Bush.

Hey guys and gals too just an update on my bbw plants lol....
All is going well and it's looking like I may get one my best harvest ever if disaster doesnt strike lol!
My chemdog#4 and blue og and mk ultra are the stars of the show really responding well and showing their potential from the heavy feeds during stretch, Burmese kush seems to be sensitive to everything and at the moment very green and clawing slightly so shes on water only at the moment and holygrail is actually starting to power through and filling the canopy very very nicely so shes moving up my rankings past Burmese and trying to catch mk ultra, to be honest she had a serious issue early on and got into lockout by the time it was resolved I was force to prune it back a bit, so shes actually a pretty damn good plant. this week all of them have gotten a good flush some Epsom salts , potash and phosphorus of guano to help promote a good set of flower. Stretch is done on 3, holy grail and Burmese are still going, Will do 1 more water on the rest before I feed again.20190131_120922.jpg 20190131_120810.jpg 20190131_120757.jpg 20190131_120644.jpg 20190131_120339.jpg 20190131_120319.jpg 20190131_120234.jpg 20190131_120042.jpg 20190131_115700.jpg .

Wow just got a call from my guy at the hydro shop one wanting my gear which I dont have lol till April and 2 to invite me to the medical convention in Melbourne as his outdoor consultant, also invited out to dinner with him and his business partner to meet the CEO of a major LED lighting company they do high quality LED arrays and are the absolute best LED company out there, servicing home and commercial growers they are looking to be the authorized dealer in Australia and he wants my gift of the gab and my executive sales background to help him secure it. That is such an honor I cant believe out of all the growers in my territory he would invite me I am speechless. He always told me my end product was at the top of his list and I'm the quiet achiever but I honestly thought he was blowing smoke up my ass because I brought in lots of (free) samples but he must actually rate my gear highly. I dont even know what to say honestly.
Gday fella, that is great news mate. By the look of those giants, u deserve it .. congrats. That'll show a few ppl what growing is about... I'd still love to try those echidnas lol

I wouldn't get to excited mate. Why would a Hydro owner want an out door consultant? Why would farmers want or listen to advice from someone with no Horti or AG back ground? Would you take agricultural advice from someone who recently killed his plants with round up? I don't know where you live but the farmer today is normally university educated and hires in other university or qualified consultants for around a thousand bucks a day. In fact Poppy growers have no say on what happens as big pharma tells the farmer when to irrigate, feed, everything... Medical is looking at going the same way which was always expected as to grow it you have to have a contract with big pharma- same as poppies.
Ever see LED fixtures in a hydro store? Not real common and those that are there are not quality units, mainly Mars and Vipers. Reason being they get out dated to fast to sit on shelves.
Just my 2 cents.
