Slaves were not considered people. They were property under the law at the time, so the Constitution did not apply to them.

Even when a slave managed to obtain freedom, they were still not U.S. citizens under the law, so they still were not subject to constitutional rights.

If you had ever taken even a basic U.S. history class you'd know that.

Start by reading the Dred Scott decision and work your way into knowing facts rather than looking like the village idiot by basing things on your opinion that has nothing to do with reality.
