LMFAO! Really..? What a little wanker..
I know he's here since a long time but was blocked pretty often because of some unknown reasons(something with the mods or so).
I never had a problem with him in the past. More the opposide was the case from my side... I've many peoples told they should have a look on his PLC strips.

Damned, he could have pm'd me directly to keep that shitty discussion out of here and find a compromise. Had he just shown me 2 tests that were made by 2 independent labs and show less than 0,5% difference I would have agreed immediately. I've chosen my username not for nothing... if I'm wrong I can admit it.
It's just so sad that he has never learned how to behave as an adult person.
I know it’s bothering you, smoke a kilo to forget about it...you’re the best!

Now, when are you gonna start writing that book?

My ole German cuzzy, sit back, relax and think about how much positive stuff you have contributed, matched by almost nobody apart from the mental muskateers in my case.

You think my 2 grows under LEDs would be possible without everyones help?

Ps the answer is no, not a shit show in hell:bigjoint:

No, for sure not.. its not worth it. I'm just amused..
.. probably cuz I'm smoking all day long!
Smoking all day long. good!
I'm quite buzzed on an incredibly potent coconut oil.
Maybe you need a change of topic.
Lower leaves falling off and the reasons why remember. :)
I'll start the conversation with you on a thread you were in, I want your opinion about what is going to happen over the next several weeks to my fan leaves.

A very nice thread with good people and good memories.
Outside the LED section this time. ;)

Yeah, I've reduced it already and use selfmade e-juice or my CFX vape. But still not stopped it completely.

I'm already trying to quit smoking completely.jpg

I haven't stopped either, it just gives my lungs a break.
LOL!
I'm thinking about the posts I'm making over there and was just smoking a couple of bowls not because I needed them but just out of habit.
The timing is perfect for the fan leaf conversation since I have been paying special attention to these plants
Hope the other thread is an appropriate place.
When I saw it mentioned @nfhiggs it felt like a good thread to revive for a conversation.

Ach! Meanwhile it becomes clearer to me..
He just can't stop to try to make other peeps look bad. I've already said, I regret to have said something..
But for him it's not enough to say it one time .. in a respectful way.. he has to say it again and again and involve others too and it has to be in a way that the other one feels like an asshole that have to stand in the pillory for his different opinion..
That's seem to give him a kick somehow!
He is surely not blocked for nothing every few weeks .. He seem to like the fighter image ...and I'm btw not the 1st one who has to feel his wrath over the past few years.
No worry! I've a pretty thick skin and just laugh at him and his tries to make a fool outta me.
Cool...cause it's really simple. You kept putting in an excuse instead of simply stopping. Every time...you had to try and make an unbacked excuse. And to this point have never come with anything backing your claims. So I continued to correct you and ask to support them with citations and examples, which you have provided none. And now are playing some kind of victim, cause I have pointed out your false and unbacked statements and asked you to support those claims.
So if you're done trying to make excuse and play a victim cause you have been making false and unbacked claims and were called on it. I'm done. But if you want to keep making false and unbaked claims, then I'm not done making sure the correct information is presented and you can take that personally or as for the facts that they are.

Hope you have a better day.

Just let it go.. Its really not worth to further fight about it.
I'm done with it too!

Have a good day yourself..

You keep saying "let it go" then you start it up again your being passive aggressive. But back to the question how did you determine this %5 difference what labs have you had testing done at? Maybe one of the labs you used messed up? 5% is alot people get really excited about 5% output increase.

He's been making friends that way for years now. It's nothing personal- it's just his charming personality shining through!

Seriously, you're about the least confrontational person here. If someone has to work that hard to start an argument with you, maybe you're not the problem- even if your knowledge isn't perfect.

I appreciate your commentary and I've learned a lot from you over the years.

In the past, when I was still working, we often had to do with "exact measurements" incl. laser aso. but that was in a completely different area and had nothing to do with light.(auto industry, body developement for cars)
One, however, can always be transferred to most of all areas. Tolerances below 0.005% are really hard to reach in real life and I would not vouch for it.
When Steven says, many labs even calibrate more often than prescribed. I say, they maybe have a reason for it... We're not talking about 100% identic aperatures, not even about the same sensor nor the same person behind the maschines. Its may not a 5% difference all the time and between each test equipment but its for sure not within 0,005%. With an 2,5μMol/j strip tested the results arcoss different equipment must be within ±0,01μMol/J for such a degree of accuracy.
I have not enough money to send my 4 boards in 4 different labs to compare the results, (I'm early retired because of an accident) but I still say you probably see a higher difference than you may think.

BTW, with "let it go" I've meant "let it go away, stop, don't think about it anymore..." There is still a language barrier I've to deal with so please keep that in mind. I've not meant, let it go, I'm ready to rumble.
I really don't want to fight with him, not for a single second. I've just another opinion about accuracy and the only thing I've said is, that the difference is maybe a bit smaller because of different test equipment. Have I tried to make this boards looking better? For sure.. at least a little bit. But what means 5% in this area? 0,1μMol/J?
Shit! Is something like that really worth such a long and useless debate?
I've already said, I regret already to have said it.

The thing is, even with the language barrier I recognize it when someone is trying to make me look like an idiot. If needed I can still shoot back! Most people knowing me know I hate to fight and I'm always friendly and never have bad intesions.
See, I'm not a young boy looking to test out his fighter skills. I'm more like an old dirty harry who is sitting on the veranda .. You can annoy him for a while but do not exaggerate it, dirty harries always have a shotgun next to him.
Let us stop this useless fight! He can not convert my opinion and I not his. Basta! Thats no reason to start a war and involve more and more members.

No you can't because you have no ammunition. You are wrong about everything you have tried to present about sphere's and gonio testing. I showed you a test of the same fixture in a sphere and a gonio bya NIST lab. There was .005% variation between the two peice of equipment...just as I stated and presented. Both calibrated and accurate. You can not backpedal out of your false claims now dude.

Page1 you're spewing from the start...VVV
That sounds a bit low, no..? QB's reach 2,49μMol/J at max current.. Hmmh?! So what's the reason for that?
The main reason are the different test methods!
QB are sphere tested
which means brightness is measured on board level. Tested at canopy level (with a certain distance to the sensor) the efficiency is a good bit lower and I think these boards are indeed in the same ballpark.
Maybe we will see QB genio tests soon and compare them direcly cuz as far as I know HLG was also interested in those tests and plans to send him(TEKNIK) a few of their boards.
A few of you may know the testing vids of the Migro owner? That's already a hint what we can expect getting out of a QB on canopy level.
So, before you decide they are not worth it wait for the QB tests. These results are really not comparable 1:1 cuz sphere test don't tell us whole story.
