F*ck the presidency. The Dems need to win the Senate. With the House & Senate in Dem hands they can f*ck thump every way but sideways....Focus on winning the senate = End of thumper
That is very much easier said than done. Republicans hold 53 seats. The few potential losses are Gardner in CO, and maybe Collins in ME. Couple that with Jones definite loss in Alabama and you have no real trajectory to win the Senate before 2020, which is a big obstacle for any Democratic candidate that defeats Trump
Who then do you think among the Democrats can win the presidency?
To defeat Trump, the Democratic nominee will need to energize non voters to vote. He/she will need a campaign that inspires people in the way the Obama campaign inspired people in 2008. Personally, I think the only thing that can do that is a solid progressive message from a candidate with a solid progressive history so people actually believe it.

Research Andrew yang and his platform it won’t happen but if you are in the blue collar middle class working poor like the US trend . His words are pretty inspiring .

Joe Rogan is a late to the game head but had a pretty good interview

In 2020 there are twice as many republicans up for re-election in the senate as democrats. Twice as many chances for a democrat to win a seat. I believe there is a very good chance for the dems to take the senate, thump has put an ugly stain on republicans.

Most of the Republican seats up for vote are held in safe Republican states
