Thank you for sharing. I have four V1's and was thinking about adding two Rspecs to get closer to 700+ watts. I sounds like adding a little red will help.I got the 135W Rspecs when they came out and finished my last harvest under them. They were under a V1 before. Harvested early, about day 55 from flip, very early about 50% orange hairs, i have mold, humidity issues though. Top bud harvest was 130G. Bottom buds estimate about another 30g. I think the 660nm addition wil help speed up flowering, creates much, much denser flowers compared to a V1.
Good to see you back in actionLight came today(qb100)!!! Just in time for the ROG-AVT SHOW!!! Its not pretty but im not trying to win any awards,I just want to grow some big buds... ROG on the left,AVT on the right... WW auto in the pot in the back, mystery Mephisto auto in the front...View attachment 4355875Thanks HLG!!!
Take the 3000k. The Samsung 3000K LEDs vegges something fiercely and performs the best of the bunch. The 3500k are tough to get your hands on. Usually sold out. In 3000k or 4000k.
4 Qb132's to my door with shipping 147$ the 132s can go up to 75 watts without a heatsink. I wouldnt advise 75 each anyway.
I run mine on a 240w1750mA so a lil over 50w a board. The driver was around 60$ shipped w/ tariffs included. 5 or 10. I forget.
I liked em so much I got 2 sets of 4!!
I think the rspec has more blue actually and they say that keeps things denser, and they say the 660 makes flowering faster. I thought we were trying to get away from blurple and pseudoscience but the overall efficiency and potential quality gains are worth it. I use 2x2s and im pretty much maxed out my harvests but i seem to be doing it a bit faster. My V2's look more blue than the V1's as well. I wish i had waited with my V1's to get the rspec's but i did save a lot on electric. I now run a 80W V1, a 120 V1, a 120 V2 and a 120 rspec. I had 2 120 V1's, then i got a 80W V2 and switched them around which is one thing i love about HLGs lights, the modularity. I think in theory doubling up your V1's is about equal or better than a V2, so buying one replacement and halving the current of another by combining two V1's would be like buying 2, efficiency wise. If you want to do it, go ahead, youre going to save in electricity.Thank you for sharing. I have four V1's and was thinking about adding two Rspecs to get closer to 700+ watts. Im doing something like this as soon as my rent and electric bill are paid... I thank you for your insight... Im still learning about these boards so anytime i have a question i come here and usually, such as this situation, before I even ask the question the answer is already here... Thank you all, you're all wise men and you all can help if you dont let your egos get in the way...I think the rspec has more blue actually and they say that keeps things denser, and they say the 660 makes flowering faster. This is clearly a plant structure that gains a lot from a good leaf strip.pulled the 2 green gelatos down to 2 kushberry plants i am going to harvest in stages pulling the center main tops and letting the lowers go another 5 days or so and a mutant looking amnesia blueberry headband cross that has maybe another week on it.\
