Hey thanks @OldMedUser I don’t use the MG for flower. I honestly don’t see a problem with MG for veg, but I would definitely try something else if you think it would make a difference.

MG has long been considered the worst of the worst among serious growers and now that Scotts is in business with Mon$anto/Bayer and bought out GH nutes, Gavita and Botanicare under the front company Hawthorne with money from Mon$atan they are the Devil's products and will bring hell and damnation to your plants! lol

Like chugging plonk wine while everyone else is sipping a good single malt Scotch.

It does supply the very basics but still not the growers choice. As it is made for flowers and not stuff made for consumption it's not as free from contaminants like heavy metals as a good food plant nutrient.

If you're happy with it that's all that matters but you ought to grab that free 300g and see how you like it.

Roots looking very healthy.

Transplanted into 1gallon with MG Moisture Control. Also added 15w led bulb for extra heat. Temp raised from 74 - 78/80.

Cut off all four lower shoots and topped.

Starting to see the two new tops emerging, it definitely stunted a couple days while it recovered. Lots of roots out the bottom already. Going with 4 gallon pot this time will transplant at 4 weeks.

Also picked up this bad boy for $5 !! Going to get a couple more 15w bulbs at the dollar store. 90watts for about $20. Looks good beside the Big Bad Blurple.

Day 21
Got it under the Blurple now. Only been half a day and she doesn’t look very happy, it is 85-86 degrees in there... going to give it a couple days before I adjust anything. Also got a fan on her now as well. Anyone think they know why the leaves are curling down ?

Day 25
This is one sad looking marijuana plant lol. Thinking it doesn’t like all the nitrogen in the miracle gro soil. Anyways I transplanted to it’s final 4 gallon pot today. Starting to train the new shoots sideways. Going to go for 8 main colas again. I’m sure it will start looking better soon. I also got the temps down to about 80ish. RH is at 50-60. Lights of it’s about 70 & 70

Maybe cut back the MG to 1/2 strength for a while til she perks up.

@bruno8437 Oh for sure! I probably won’t feed again until week 2-4 of flower. And for that I have proper nutrients lol. I think it’s more like 1-5-7.

Looking better, already got roots all the way to the bottom. Also has a noticeable smell now when I open the cabinet.

Looking good! I’m scrapping the “8 cola” mainline as this plant responds terribly to being pruned. I’m going to keep tying it down and let it do whatever it wants lol.

Day 40

Did a massive defoliation of everything underneath. Probably going to give it 5 days to recover then flip on day 45. I’m @ 210watts right now and will up it to 280watts when I flip with some 2700&3000k bulbs.

I am a little confused right now, it seems like she is hardly drinking. I waited until bone dry and then watered until run-off. It’s been 8 days and the pot still doesn’t feel light? It’s only a four gallon and the plant is fairly big now. Temps are still 75 off 85 on. RH 50-70. I’ve also decided I am going to flip tonight when I get home from work. 45 day veg is plenty enough for me.

Oh man got home from work tonight, thought I’d check to see if they’re dry and my god It was bad. Extremely wilted... like branches sagging straight down laying on the dirt .. The weird thing is the pot still felt kinda heavy ? Anyways I didn’t have time for a pic but I quickly poured in 2 litres. Will take a pic if still fucked when I get back home. (Had to take kids and wife to appointment)

Day 50 (5 since flip)

Well it definitely recovered ! No pistils yet, but it definitely is starting to stretch.

So I noticed some weird white specks tonight, almost like like paint or something. I was so confused at first and tried to brush them off. If anyone’s actually reading this I would LOVE some input on this please.

Almost positive it’s SpiderMites. So I bought a “No-Pest Strip” , we will see how that works.

I took a couple clones the other day just in case this plant turns out to be what me and my wife are looking for.
