Thanks a lot! I started all of them from seed (my plan is to start using clones tho), flowered them all at about 1.5 weeks into veg., so they were about 3 inches tall. Ideally I want to get them in some 1L pots, heres a link to some i've been thinkin of getting if I can't get any locally: Novosel Enterprises - Square Pot Deep 4" - Deep square plastic flower pots Those are actually about 1/3 of a gallon if my calculations are correct. Can fit 12 of those in there.

I wish I woulda had this idea a while ago, i've just been doing 4 plants in 6L pots from seed for the past year. Harvesting every 2.5-3 months with about 3-4 ounces. I can change that to up to 6 ounces every 2 months with this method. Or I can even do a perpetual harvest like you're thinking.Ya know... you just inspired me!! I've got about 5sqft of grow space 8ft high... So like you said basically with you cabinet, I should just half it for a clone/mom chamber and flowering chamber that can hold 4 ebb&flo trays with 6 of those 4" pots!
Simple SOG method I guess, but clipping 6 clones, flower at 2wks, clip 6 more clones and flower in two weeks, and so on.... And you said that was almost a quater you got off that one jumper... that could be almost 3-5 ounces a month by keeping the flower rotation goin!!
I guess it took seeing your grow to finally knock me in the head! But 3-5 O's is A LOT of nuggets for me... so ungreedily, I'd prolly just try to harvest 4 every two weeks. 2-3 O's a month will keep me good and retarded!
so i know i'm gonna sound like a cheap ass but right now i'm waiting tables at a fine dining restaurant (the owner and head manager/head bartender all smoke hydro) so business isn't going too well with the fucking economy all shitty. so is there anyway i can cut costs still turning out primo weed as far as hardwear goesWell the cabinet itself cost me about 100 bucks, but everything inside including the cabinet (minus the weed) was about 500 or so, maybe a bit less.. been a while since I bought the stuff. Electricty wouldn't be over an extra $20 bucks a month I don't think. Figure if you have a desktop computer that puts off about 400 watts on average and my light only puts off 250watts.
Growing weed is not only not hard, it's fun. I've been doing it since I was 15, yes with the help of my parents (bought me my first grow cab), and i haven't stopped. You just gotta get a system down then it's like dressing yourself in the morning. As for cops, i've never had a problem, let alone been worried about cops. My grow is small so i've never had to worry about my electric bill or anything like that. Probably the biggest thing you'de have to worry about is the smell.. and that's easily fixed with a good carbon scrubber.
And don't worry about asking questions, I didn't learn overnight. I see that was your first post too, so welcome to RIU!
If you already have a cabinet then that saves you money right there. From there you need to buy a light, I don't have any links handy but you can find good lights for about $150, if you go with a HID light. Check out eBay, they sometimes have good deals. You can get a cheap fan from a hardware store for ventilation if you have a cab like mine. I wish I didn't get such a powerful one, just a waste of money for my circumstance. So really you can probably get everything you need for just a couple hundred bucks, it'll easily pay for itself in the first harvest...
These ones I flowered pretty early at about 2 inches and they got to an average 17". I flowered before at about 3-4" and they ended up at about 22" if I remember right. Yours will probably be about 2 feet.i just set up a cab my self,white widow from green hse seeds,i just put 3 into flower they were about 4.5 in. 4th internode,6*6*7in. pots how tall did your plant get at finish?this is cool to find this thread i needed to talk with someone doing the same as me
Good luck with that bagseed, I tried growing out some before from a very good bag I got and it was a real finicky bitch.. weirdest thing was the bud off the plant was nothing like the bud from the bag. I hope I can find some good pots locally cause that would suck to have to order 'em, only good thing is I would get 'em in 2 days.
