Been wonderful talking with you all. Got to get to work around here before momma gets home. Love you Buck. Not much on religion though. I was raised an evangelical tongue speaking Pentecostal. I look back at those times 70 years ago and wonder how I kept norml........ Or is it normal...
 
Farmers and ranchers are usually optimists. You have to be. Many bolster this personal optimism with a belief in God. You have to acknowledge you can lose it all after a years hard work or worse never get the chance to plant your “go to” cash crop. The wet Spring in the Midwest is still an example of that. Then you have to be optimistic that there will be buyers enough to keep the price high enough to make it worth it all. They know there will be bad years as well as the good and that sometimes those years line up in 2s or 3s.

But to willfully choose a cold winter and a wet spring followed by a summer of tornadoes and haboobs? That’s basically what they did helping elect the bastard. Let’s see if they’re like the cartoon rubes and do it again.

They might have the capital to withstand the initial damage to their portfolios, but once the pain really set's in, they will dump Trump. (nice rhyme, right?)
