25% shade polyethylene for greenhouse ?

I just built a greenhouse to place my outdoor plants that have been under the sun for a month (needed to hide them from neightboors), I bought some white polyethylene plastic and I realized it seemed to white and didn't seem to let that much light through , has anyone grown under 25% shade plastic ?
The thing I like is that nothing can't be seen from the outside.

6 mil "clear" plastic would work if it's a matter of just making it unrecognizable. If you're hiding it because it's illegal, the smell will be a dead giveaway anyways.

you could run that up the bottom 1/2 up to where people can see in and then get clear plastic for the top of it.

also your going to want to be able to roll up the sides and bungee them , and possibly have a way to open a hole in the roof or on one of the gable ends

so you guys think 25% shade Is way to much ? There is a hole in the roof but I can't be bigger because my neightboors can see bit from the top,
The sides are open only the front and the top are covered but that is where direct sun comes from , they get a bit of direct sun from the side , like 4 hours .
Smell won't be a problem because I'm in front of the ocean and theres always breeze

In my opinion, you're fine with the 25%. It will spread the light, too. @doublejj has the most experience with this.

I'm using 50 percent white poly tops on two greenhouses to hide from prying eyes in the sky. My plants are still in veg though. This is a test run. If the buds come out dense enough then I will be using the white poly as standard. It keeps the greenhouse cooler during heat waves also. It's good to not worry about the choppers haha.

That should work fine. All plastic sheeting (even clear) is opaque looking. best of luck
thank you Dobulejj ! im happy to hear that , i searched all over the internet with no answer, so i guess there is no real difference from outdoor to greenhouse, best of lucks to you to!
