Mother plants - How do I start?

Hello lads, I am about to start my first venture into buying regular seeds to try and get a stable mother (Bodhi 11 pack) There are a few things I am unsure about.
Is this the correct way to go about things : OPTION A; Sprout seeds, after they have shown sex grow all of the females on and take cuttings from them all. Grow maybe two of each of the cuttings on to flower then harvest. Whichever cut was best I then keep the original plant from seed and keep her as a mother never letting her flower.

OR

OPTION B: Take cuttings from all of the seed females then let the seed females flower and keep the cuttings from said female (the best) to use as mothers.

And lastly without causing a big argument, can I use a feminized plant as a mother using either of the above 2 methods.

I'd take cuttings, and grow out the mother based on the plant you got it from (like you described).

Yes, you can use a femenized plant as a mother.

Sorry for being a bit slow on the uptake JSB but is that option A or B ( I have edited my OP with option A or B.

Option B. Take your cuttings during veg and put them in a cloner, let the big plants start flowering until they show their sex, and use the cuttings from the healthiest female to use as your new mother plant.

Btw, you don't have to use a cloner, but you may get better results, and definitely faster results, using a cloner. You can build your own for super cheap (around $20).
Is there a post regarding this budget clones, or can you share the plans?

Whatever floats your boat. It takes many generations before and genetic profile is being washed out.

From my experience you loose vigour in veg after about 3 years from taking a clone to reveg over and over again.
