By multi national’s you mean tobacco and opiate companies because they need a leg up. The Greens will do all the work pushing it and raising the money for advertising. No one's putting a legal grow together for anything like 100k. Security measures alone would be near 100k, add to that licensing, property, grow infrastructure, staff, processing space and equipment, etc and you'd want at least 10 million in funding behind you and hope you can turn a profit straight out of the gates or you'd be broke in 6 months

Yeah big ag, big tobacco, big pharma and even the booze companies will be all over it. Like in Canada I think there are like 7 licensed producers or something ridiculous.
At least one of the growers on this thread has been approached to grow in legal medical in Aus. He has no qualifications in the field.
at least one operation in WA is doing THC medical legal.
