Oh really?? Why turn the HPS off? I thought it was good to have both spectrums of light?? And if I just run the T5 and I have the fans on the plants I can get them literally touching the lights if they wanted to, so just use the T5 until when?? Because its not going to be enough after a while and I'm going to have to use the HPS correct????? Thanks you guys again

When you water that much in a solo cup ...... you are stripping the soil. There is absolutely NO REASON to get 30% runoff in a plastic cup....
You also may want to up pot them too.
Okay good to know!! Should I water until a little bit comes out the bottom?? And should I transplant them as soon as possible? I have a 1 gallon container and a 3 gallon container I was going to plant them both in 3 gallon containers but should I start off with just 1 gallon???

Man you have been told like 4 times already

Turn the HPS off.

Put the T5 like 2 feet above those things for a bit.

Your just throwing light at them that they can’t even use

Turn the hps off use the T5 at 24" now you got holes put them on glass plate to catch runoff and very very light like 2ml/gal on a grow nute and maybe 1-2ml/gal micro
24" from the plants with a T5? Are you serious? You can put that T5 4" from the top of the plants. I keep mine just a couple inches above the plants. 24" and you'll end up with plants that are all stretched out.

Bump what?

Use the T5. Keep it a few inches from the plant. You can use it until the plants get three to four times that size then use both lights. Don't water until you get 30% runoff. Like has been stated all your doing is leaching everything out of the soil. Let the cups dry out between waterings. You can use the HPS when they get bigger. Next time take your time when making drain holes. There is no reason to mangle those cups like you did. You don't need to transplant them for awhile. Wait until you see roots coming out the bottom of the cup which shouldn't be hard. I'd transplant to the three gallon containers myself.

You need to slow down and be patient. If you don't discipline yourself you'll end up with a crappy grow. You have to wait for the plant to grow. Staring at them constantly and fiddling with things won't make them grow any faster.

Ok no problem will do!!!! I'll raise the lights up about 6 inches???? I know the T5 have to be lower than the 150 HPS light, so how should I do this? Should I just run one light or both?
I would just do the t5. Plenty of light for a couple small plants. About 15" above the tops of the plants. Move it down a few inches as they grow. They won't dry out as fast now. Shouldn't be watering everyday. Should remove the towel. Its a harbour for mold, mildew, bacteria, ect.

I wouldn't try to start seedlings in FFOF, it's too hot for seedlings IMO. Some growers do it and are successful but it's easier to start seedlings in a milder soil. You can veg with HPS if you have to but T5's alone are great for seedlings. With HID lighting, HPS lighting is best for flower, MH is better for veg. If it were me, I'd shit off the HPS, transplant and use a milder soil for a few weeks to get those seedlings back on track. Also, you only need a couple of ounces of water at this stage, no need for run-off yet.
