Plants roots are starting to get in the way of the outlet that flows down to the rez. Might need to resize it soon. Looking good though no signs of stress and plant looks very happy. Growing super fast now

Plant looks super healthy i forgot to turn on my exaust fan which resulted in high temps. I panicked last night. The drain tube has become not big enough to keep up with my pump. I suspect its because the roots are gettin bigger. So it was just pumping water to the top rez until it kinda ran dry. Luckily the pump is good and wont burn out from this. So it was more DWC today. And im going to watch the ppm. Plant doesnt show any signs of stress whatsoever. Now the drain tube has been upgraded to 3/4 instead of 1/2" if this doesnt work i will look into drilling another hole.

Got my first sign of stress today

This literally happened overnight. Anybody suggestion? So i changed the rez and cut back the nutes. Im suspecting nute burn just weird its in the middle of the plant. Before rez change was

Plant drank about a gallon of water. I did inject some hydrogen peroxide 5ml the day before. Maybe too much? Plant drank about a gallon of water since last rez change.

Rez at 191ppm water im going to add 400 ppm grand total 600 into 4 gallons of water. Less is more? Lol inspected for root rot everything looks good.

Hopefully this sorts it out. Anyone recognize this problem feel free to chime in. No upswing or down swing in ph so im guessing nutes....

I've been kind of expecting this, your nute ppm is kind of rediculously high for 3 weeks of growth, I'm at 400 ppm at 21 days, Dr. Amber Is in the 500 range at 37 days at the flip. I'd flush with clean water for a day and give her fresh lower ppm solution and see how she responds.

Man thank you. Im not versed in ppm/ec so this is great advise. When im doing my nutrient solution, do i include the water ppm??? Ex 200ppm nutes 200ppm so 400 total? Or do you exclude the water ppm? Ive discovered with the rez , i cant really monitor if the water level is going down with the ppm. I will flush and start again. I know i fucked up my last nutes and ive been thinkin of doing RO water

I use purified water, so my ppm readings are just my nute solution. I would count tap waters ppm toward the total ppm, it's just that you won't know what the extra ppm is. Which is why I like purified water.

Welp, in the light of my good buddy GoldD basically telling me i was out of my mind, and for showing me the difference between his and Dr ambers ppm, i realized i was basically smashing the plant with nutes. Lol so, i went out and got some RO water.
4 PPM. Im flushing as of now for 24hrs and start back at 200 PPM. Appreciate the advice GoldD. Going forward i will pay more attention to the nutes and document how much ml i put in as well as the ppm/ec.

You coulda left it. My mates got plants like yours his at like 1.7 ec an gets his plants upto like 2.8 by end of grow.

Your running about 1.0ec i recon .8 be ok
I thinks its good to push nutes high stops em later in life being weak an fickle.

Lol it was at 1.6 so i was pushing the shit out of it lol. But I will feed her water for 24hrs then put it back. I also have RO water now so it will be easier to count the ppm. I was reviewing scottyballs and his nutrients were quite high at this time. Anyway i probably pushed it a bit. Thank you for your feedback man

Read his manual and adhere by his rules. Your nute level was ridiculously high for a tiny plant. Stop using everything but Flora nova bloom and at this point flush then start building up. I suggest at 300 PPMs.

Ouch man! Why wouldnt you guys say something instead of liking my posts all the time???? Anyway i fucked up on my last nute mixture I know this. Also looking at scottys manual
I really wasnt that far off from his schedule. But yes, I did fuck up the solution and just try it last time. But please, say something. I told everyone before i welcome all criticism and guidance.


I will start again at 300ppm tomorrow. How much ppm do you move up everytime? Is there a set amout or do you just wing it?

After running clean water I decided to test the rez. Was at 506ppm. So its good I took advise and flushed the plant.

New rez
Temps 22
Rez 19.5
5ml of flora nova in 3 gallons of RO water that initially tested at 3ppm for a total of 306 ppm.
Ph was at 5.6 without any ph up or down will let it stabilize and check later today.

Despite a little burn the plant did not slow down growth.

Lol lessons were learned.
