oh i totally agree with you, i think we are more than halfway honestly and will be worse than that in the end. it just scares the shit outta me still.

we have republicans allowing corporations and banks to take over the gov. we have democrats enslaving the people with welfare and assistance programs, and we the people for the most part are so damn ignorant that even when cnn does snippits of our dark future to come it still doesnt matter because rock of love is on tv!! we have too many distractions and entertainment that drive us away from the truth and things of importance... while we are glued to the tv at home our gov is selling us down the river... and the sickest part is WE LOVE IT!! at least the "sheeple" do.

im ready for a revolution..
Dead on man.. dead f*cking on.. cept. the Dem's are selling us out to the banks and corporations too! It's a fascist/socialism orgy everywhere you look.. and yes, the sheeple LOVE IT.. they love bathing in their ignorance. And when you try to point them into a direction of self discovery and awakening to REALITY, YOU BECOME THE ENEMY.. HOW DARE YOU TRY TO GET THEM TO LOOK OUTSIDE THEIR LITTLE BOX OF REALITY.. lmfao.. really it's so f*cking sad and utterly pathetic, that I just can't help but laugh. You honestly can almost agree with the elite on principle- I sure as hell can see how they look down on us as worthless cattle, as a nation WE ACT LIKE IT, AND REVEL IN IT.. However, as for me.. I have a daughter man, I've got another baby on the way- if I were to ever just lay down and do nothing, I would be JUST AS BAD as those committing these crimes against us- I will die on my feet before I EVER live on my knees- I could NEVER look into my children's' eyes and tell them, I DID NOTHING... Don't lose heart fellow patriots, you are not alone- though in a sea of loyalists it is easy to be swept away in that assumption.. Godspeed...

I shall not bow before any man, I shall not surrender or break, I shall not bend my beliefs to the whims of politicians, demagogues or tyrants, I shall remain unbowed, unbent and unbroken.

the markets have been artificially kept afloat for a while now with all these bailouts and buy ins and crap.. its rediculous. i find it especially funny how its almost impossible to find gold and silver bouillon dealers beacuse all of it has been grabbed up yet the price has stayed low because these yuppies who paper trade gold and silver still think they could turn their paper in for hard currency LOL. if they all did try to convert thier paper commodoties into hard commodities the prices of gold and silver would instantly triple or quadruple.

and they just blame all of these market conditions on a few key scapegoats and the people.. yea right like these phd economists and mba's are so fucking stupid that they thought even though we are giving ARM's to people who we damn well know cant afford it and leveraging out 90 percent of our money everything is gonna be juuuust peachy

and the gov lowering restrictions to allow banks to only hold 10 percent of what they leverage out? i mean heysoos christo it doesnt take a rocket scientist to see hmm if only one in ten loans default these motherfucks are bankrupt!!! do we have freakin 4th grade drop outs running our economy or something? give me a break

we need to stop worrying about other peoples problems and start working on our own

you are one ignorant :cuss: arent you? do you not understand that the REASON we are in this mess in the first place is because everyone worries about themselves, when they are gonna get that new car, those new gucci boots, that bigger house... me me me, fuck my neighbor fuck everyone else i gotta get mine. fuck tax cuts for the rich fuck programs for the poor give me tax cuts... all these "special intrest groups" lobbying for everyone to get there way and when everyone gets their way everybody suffers.. where as if we did what was best for our country as a whole everyone would suffer in different areas, but we wouldnt be in the position we are in now.

I think 4th Grade drop outs could do a better job.

The problem is that we have "experts" running the country, and these "experts" are so busy trying to determine why their colon is the color it is that they have yet to pull their heads out of their ass.

None of the people who are running things are concerned about the country as a whole, it's like Flo said, it's me, me, me, me, me.

I don't feel the need to have the biggest house, or the best car and I hate to shop for clothes. I just want to be able to pay my bills have food to eat and not have to stress about health coverage. If the government could get their hands out of the pockets of everyday citizens maybe those citizens could afford health care, food and whatever else they need.

I'm also for everyone in Washington taking a pay cut and do we really need to keep paying ex-presidents? Bill Clinton gets paid a million dolars everytime he speaks somewhere, I dare say he could live just fine off of his speech money alone. George Bush is in oil, does he really need my pitiful tax dollars? Now that there is a welfare system in place if ex-presidents are broke, they can sell off all their stuff and apply for food stamps, if it's good enough for the rest of us, it's good enough for them.

It's just such a double standard, they claim to be able to identify with the "little guy" but with their salary how can they?

I always wanted to make a reality show where a politician has to live on a minimum wage paycheck for 3 months with no credit cards or extra cash. Of course it'll be one with kids so they have to buy schools supplies and try to pay $100 for shoes so their kid can be on the basketball team. How fun would that be to watch? Hell that's better than Survivor.

That's because there is ultimately no need to worry about the country as a whole. If I'm doing well and am flush with cash that I am spending, and my neighborhood is full of people doing the same, and the other neighborhoods in same city are the same, and all the cities in the country are the same then the country will be doing damn good, no?

Of course, the problem is that we have a corrupt federal bureaucracy that has elected to show us who their true masters are, and has taken our hard earned money and given it to the bankers. If the government was truly worried about the economy instead of worrying about the bankers they'd be worried about how to create a sustainable economy, because frankly, our economy is not sustainable, because of the gutting of our manufacturing center by stupid trade agreements like NAFTA, CAFTA and stupid minimum wage laws, even stupider unions that can't wrap their heads around the fact that $1,000 today is not better than $50,000 next year, and $50,000 the year after that, and another $50,000 after that, repeated until they choose to retire.

Hell, if it wasn't for corporate and private income taxes the cost of a lot of goods would be drastically reduced. The cost of medical care would go down, because doctors would suddenly be able to enjoy the same level of living with a lot less money. Housing prices would go down, and the list would go on and on and on.

No, the problem isn't that people aren't worrying about the nation as a whole, the problem is that people are worrying about the nation as a whole instead of focusing on preserving the liberties of all the individuals in the United States.

Society is comprised of individuals, thus any attempt to ignore an individual does more to destroy society than anything else.

when was the topic ever about sending billions of dollars out of the country to help other nations? i know the post you quoted had nothing to do with the response. the only time we got remotely close to that is talking about the war on terror (which we started and is our problem) and the global markets (which rely on us doing well so is also largely our problem)

are you sure your not just saying that cuz you finally know im right

The Fed is printing trillions of dollars like it is newspapers

The gov. is buying into private banks and collecting assets

the prices of gold and silver are being artificially suppressed despite market conditions

The stock markets are shitting on themselves

foreclosures and unemployment are skyrocketing

the Ameros are already being printed and shipped to china

I know my stance, but I want to hear yours.. this should be a good one
the money is just paper and we have been dumbed down since that last time this happened so that we would fall for the same scam again. it helps that most of the people that were round last time are dead or so old that it doesnt matter to them any more. bailing out shit because stocks fall is totally bullshit cause the supposed value was just fake anyway, its not like it was real in any way and paying it off with fake money doesnt really matter. this whole thing has to default one way or the other so there isnt much need to get all twisted about it. but the powers that be are really playing a different game then what we think is going on anyway. those at the real top of this pyramid are all about power and not money, money is an illusion. you can get monkeys to to do tricks for coins once you set them into a scenario where they can trade cash for food, and they will hoard the money and trick their asses off to increase their stash.

All the pundits and people on CNBC keep saying...oh, we've hit the bottom now, time to buy! Or... the bottom is just around the corner, then things will turn around! We haven't even dropped below 8000. I think we have long way to go before we hit the bottom. And after that, we will have a very long road to recovery.
