Edit: This is a "small" & isolated fire. There's a likelihood that two bigger fires in NSW are going to suck each-other into one huge conflagration. I don't want to think of the consequences if that were to happen. It's the big ones that are the problem.

Whats its been 4 months of fires so far? at least two months to go.

Ive never had my water tank down this low so early- tis tinda dry.

Yeah, it's been so dry I'm actually considering saving water from growing & keeping it for firefighting purposes instead.

Normally at this time of year, we're getting torrential downpours, but our tanks are down by about 30%.

I was a volunteer firefighter from 16-30 and junior member from 11-16. I’ve fought bush fires in 4 states. Plus a whole bunch of other shit.
Point being when your a firey you make light of situations like that because stressing helps no one. But civi’s don’t get it most of the time and it offends.

i had to do endless fire training in the military, like ya said civilians are useless, no common dog fuck

1000lt pod, the only concern i have on my block is a bit of long grass, no big deal, it'll come in handy for watering trees

i just been pumping dam water into any thing i got that holds water , before it all evarorates, and got two 4 stroke pumps from ebay last month im ready as i can be

well, the ones i got were two 2 inch 8 hp fire fighters not sure of there rate but they kick butt, any bigger id take off

If your already fighting spot fires you’ve probably left it too late to evacuate.
