found these just now they look interesting

Steer clear of the eBay chips. They are definitely more pain than they are worth.

Like I’d actually recommend a Mars hydro blurple over those chips. Less likely to burn your house down or electrocute you (which is saying something with the Mar blurple reputation)

I haven’t really looked into cobs. When I started getting into leds cobs where on the way out. They’ve kinda hit their limit now with companies choosing to focus on smaller smds that can be spread out on a board/strip. From what I have looked at the vero’s are the go too. They wont be as efficient as smd’s but will probably cost a little less.

oh yeah and one of those cheap as ferk sinlgle cobs for 30 bucks
lets hope no fires
