Not musicians? They made it because of their live shows- no one wanted to sign them. Nikki Sixx's, band Sixx am is pretty damn good to.
Even Slash credits Motley Crue.

This is about their early life on the strip.
Yeah, "Mertley Croy" (if you were to pronounce their name correctly with the umlauts.....which idea they pinched from Motorhead btw...), I'll throw-in with the rest of the So-Cal "Hairspray" bands like Twisted Sister & Quiet Riot etc.....etc......(who, btw, only got notoriety by covering a Slade song).

For the record, one of the best live gigs I've ever been-to was ACTUALLY Slade themselves.

Again, I prefer musicians, not auto-erotic visual performance artists using instruments as props.

Mate they made it because they played at the whisky a go go nearly every week and packed it, They earned their success.
They really are the saints of Los angeles and bands like Guns and roses followed in their footsteps- albeit a little less rocky.

Slash credits them as huge influence on him which is a big deal when u think of all the famous people his parents associated with.

i was wondering when you gonna chime in

nice jacket the stiching on the patches is neat

wow about the recording stuff, what instrument
I love music. Just some types shit me to tears (like rap & doof-doof).

The needlework was all my own (yes, including the embroidery).

I used to play bass, but I was actually referring to being in the audience on that particular Motorhead album.

speaking of hair, people forget how big Rose Tattoo was in England and Europe. If it wasnt for some bad luck and timing they could of made it in America.

You have to turn that one way up and listen to the story.

I'll have to defer on this one. Without wanting to step on toes & personal preferences, I grew-up on the old-school "heavy" bands from the early-mid '70's & the NWOBHM. I'm open to new things, but some bands emerged whilst I was struggling with the emotional & physical upheaval of moving to Aus from the UK.

Cut me some slack on this one, please...

Please explain how the laws of thermodynamics would allow a container in the ground to be of lower temp than the surrounding ground temp. Lol people literally build root cellars in places that freeze to stop their shit getting too cold.
A root cellar is what they used back in the day as a refrigerator!!
I said the container would be like a fucking refrigerator!!
Are you saying I’m wrong but right, but you could of been right so your wrong?
@reza92 what your basing your temps on is dry soil. Wet soil is a different game, yes when the soil is dry everything you say is true. But you get a cold winter and a fuck tonne of rain, she will get cold as fuck and stay cold for a long time (a good thing in a root cellar though)
I’ve worked in basements that are 4c when it’s 12c outside, no magic tricks. In a perfect world your shit would stay constant but like grow rooms you always get fluctuations.
That’s why they’re insulated, yes dirt is an awesome insulator until it’s wet then it’s fucked. Anyways insulation gets a tick from me :peace:

Next basement I do I’ll show you some pics. They generally always insulate them these days it’s normally polystyrene foam. The 150mm thick stuff or if they have money the spray job. It goes block work, waterproof membrane, insulation (waterproof) with drainage pipe at the bottom. Then a thick plasticplastic

dude your comparing

That’s just blatantly not true. You actually base soil temps off water temps at the same depth because water is both and insulator and a conductor. Go relearn some physics. It’s why caves are a constant temp, if they have water the cave will be the same temp as the water.

Always better to insulate if u can afford it anyway.
Ive seen the water proof sprays of cause, but i havent seen one insulated here thats underground. But i dont get snow here. Great as a sound deadner anyway. U could have a rock concert going on in an underground basement or container and no fukkers gunna hear ya.

Settle, gretel. Americans (not all of them like being tarred with the epithet "Yank", btw) do, in fact "get" rock & roll.

Point in fact - the term "Rock & Roll" is actually an American idiom & derives from a lot of black-influences & the term is a euphemism for "sex".
