Under the Soil Temperature heading, i'm fairly sure it backs up what I suggested. By stating the ground deeper down, fluctuates much less and holds it's temperature a lot longer.

They're suggesting it's insulator.
Yeah but in a cave the depth of the earth is from the cave wall not the ground surface. The air still fluctuates pretty quickly

If i'm interpreting it right, seasonal temperature is only really an issue if it's less than 10ft deep?
In which case, there probably has to be extra insulation from somewhere?

Deeper than 10ft, insulation not needed?

Kinda. If your seasonal temps had huge swings yeah. Like freezing in winter and hot as in summer.

Like at 5ft the day to day temp wouldn’t fluctuate much but the month to month temp would

Forgive me if I come across as a bit patronising here, but No, I'm talking Motorhead. The musicians (lovely blokes, btw). The gigs. The drugs. The UNBELIEVEABLY, INCREDIBLY PHENOMINAL volume levels when there was no such thing as noise pollution or time curfews in the UK in the early '80's.

Being saturated in sweat in the middle of winter.

Walking out of the gig & having your sweat freeze on your clothes.

Walking out of the gig with your ears ringing for days & not being able to hear anything (I'm partially deaf because of it).

NOT video's or hairspray.
in the 80s EVERYBODY wore hair spray... Big hair and mullets.

Insulation isn’t good?

(Had to do that reza LoL)
Regardless insulation will only benefit the situation. If you were seriously worried it was over insulated, which I highly doubt you could just install a few earth cooled tubes like on the earth ship homes. That would do the job and cost fuck all.
That would be the absolute optimum yes especially if winter and summer temps had huge swing but still overkill. Insulation alone would just trap heat but. In my area in winter we’re lucky to see temps get 0 of a night (rarely below) and day temps still hitting 20+ so ground temps would still range from 7-15, combine that with heat output from growing (in 320sq/ft you’d get 10 degrees easy). Run lights at a night, vent the container to above ground so your pulling slightly warmer air of a day to stabilise lights on/off temps and you’d be golden. Probably get away without needing an aircon at all.

Your swag has an air pocket your body is heating up that acts as a thermal barrier to the outside air but your in direct contact with the ground

It's about being disrespectful to someone from another country who has been respectful to us during the fires & joined the conversation.

Pull your fucking head in & return the compliment. Say "Thanks" to Doug for acknowledgeing that there are countries outside the US.

This might be a silly question, is there any 100% indica or 100% sativa? All the strains i been looking at are cross dominant. What is the oldest strain?

Hard to find these day. Nearly everything is a hybrid in some respects. There are a few guys like all beanbrains now breeding with old stock that’s now unavailable that might have something close

Yeah. Fuck buying co2 when the atmosphere gets more and more every year anyway. Plus don’t want to have to monitor oxygen levels to make sure I could breathe in there. 10-15m of 10inch intake pipe for fresh air exchange moving slow. Same again for extraction
