4th week of flowering small buds?

First time grow, haven’t had any issues on the grow thus far. I’m curious if my plant is lagging behind normal bud size. I did veg pretty long. Thanks in advance for any input

Thanks for the reply I guess when you see all the stuff about bud boosters and what not it’s tough not to get sucked into everything they are selling. I haven’t used any fertilizers and I’d like to keep if that way if possible, I have just fed it fish shit every second water. Hope it will be enough for the remainder of the grow

I use 3 things max all dry salts I use gln calmag and pk and two things but I don’t use them all together depends on what my plants need I use raw p for more phosphorus when my plants really start craving it and I have mag sulfate/Epsom salts for my strains that want more mag That’s about it but I use a combo of them all just depends what my plants want to eat

Imo longer veg and if it’s from seed will delay flower. Pretty sure distributors count 12/12 to start a week in, after preflower.

Reflective walls, mylar or white paint will reflect more light. just use consistent ph'd water and be patient. ur good.

Thanks for all the input, I flipped to 12/12 4 weeks ago. I probably vegged for 4 months, the stalk is about an inch at the dirt. I guess only time will tell if I’ve extended my flowering duration. Again thanks for the input and I will have a tent 100% on the next one. Fingers crossed

You veg time was 4 months!!! Your limited by that light definitely.

Ya, I missed the 4 months he already vegged. its definitely that weak light. If money is a concern a $200-$240 CMH will light up that tent. You wont get a good LED for less then $500.

Phillips bulbs are better for any CMH, but the included one will kick ass on a blurple LED.

I will repeat it a third time because im a newbie and need to remember this too -- more light.

Nutes do NOT create bigger better buds. No doubt tailoring nutrition can improve results but the little I have learned so far is plants use light like we use food. Their nutes are not like our food...they are more like our vitamins...have enough available so it can do what it needs to do. More nutes is not more bud. More light is.

Lighting helps but you also have a ways to go according to those pictures. They'll grow, just be patient. You also have " Final Bud Swell " were a bud can swell easily to 25% of it's size in the final 2 weeks of flower. Things will start picking up a lot more over the next 2-3 weeks.
