I feel you about that. Jail is the worst thing these pigs can do to a person. People shouldn't be jailed so easily for stupid stuff. If you're going to be jailed, it should be for rape or murder, and other extreme violence done on purpose. Jail should only be for people so bad as a way to keep them away from society forever. Anything else you should go get help in a hospital or therapy center to teach you to function better in society.

I don't want you back in.

I try to remember to look at everything through the lens of it being amplified by the online commentary all the way up to the television news channels to the point that it becomes nonstop turmoil. It has been the case since 9/11 that the 24 hour news cycle started and to hook people you need it to have the attraction of a car accident, you have to look.

We don't get to see all the great things that are happening everywhere, couple that with the militarized trolling, and it is easy to feel overwhelmed. But even with the worst shit that is happening, humanity is still moving forward and improving.

This too shall pass.

Another 737 fell out of the sky killing almost 200, it was a 3 year old plane. The company covered up the problems with the plane, why isn't someone in jail awaiting trial for murder and why are they still using them? Why doesn't it make the news besides just announcing body counts? Why aren't people outraged? If it doesn't affect me it's not important is the mind set nowadays.

There is so much shit being thrown at people that they are overwhelmed with the information overload. And assuming anything is or isn't outraging people is too absolutist. We can't even get everyone to agree on facts on too big of a scale to actually have real conversations.

My beliefs weren't formed by tRUmp in the last few years. Many of my opinions were formed long ago and I have watched them proved right one after the other over the years. When your young it's easy to be optimistic, as you age you see the truth of things through experience and interactions with others. The train that is the human race is barreling down the tracks and the bridge is out, it won't end well.
