it’s a clone I got given. Supposedly it’s kimbo kush x buckeye purple.
Alls I know is it goes hard, packs on some weight and could be finished in 7 weeks if I only cared about the money. I always give it an extra week just because it’s for me.

being summer the temps don’t get lower than 25 ambient around here so not much point. It’s hard to tell from pictures but there’s still purple streaks through the bud. Winter they’d be a deep purple but.

your obviously not using it right. I get as good a quality with my leds as my hps for less heat and less power. Thats if it’s a genuine hlg light. The knockoffs could be disappointing

Fuck knows they dont seem to penertrate the canopy as much.
Plants are shorter stockier
Just all round shit.
Buds are smaller
Growth seems slower.
Maybe its my style of growing i always try an have a thick bush in them 4x4 tents.
I was also running my tent the same as hps.
Still exhausting the tent.

you can’t run an led the same way as a hps and expect the same results. For starers hid’s give off huge amount of IR energy where leds do not so you need to run your room slightly warmer, with vpd and leaf temps coming into play with how much they’ll drink.
as for penetration I’m getting an easy foot of penetration off my single cutter pannel. It’s about finding the right height for the light so it penetrates the top foliage while not burning the colas.
id be using a solid 100w of led less than my hps and getting yeilds as good if not higher than my hps with no loss of quality. The colas generally be shorter and fatter but vs the hps tall and thin, but both are like rocks.
