Yea its abit over my head just wanted to know if that current setup ( pic i posted before) would be enough to run a grow room. It seems more involved then doing wiring for light's an pwr points

Yea im not out to rewire the hole house, if i owned it then yea for sure but nahh fuck that.
Just wanna setup a grow room

you still need an earth and circuit breakers on the grow room line, if you planning on going in side the room,

der, water and electricity

we dont want anyone fried for they weed, the earth and the negative line, form a circuit that if tripped out (by a short) will cut power

you just need....... no breakers, bit of water, and a bare extention lead to end up dead

Ya not wrong an thats the whole reason i posted askin if the current wirring and ceramic fuses would be enuff to support the power draw of a grow room. If it turns out that the complete line from switch board to location where i plan on growin needs upgrading i will scratch the idea altogether an continue to grow outdoors

i had the same problem for years i was slack,,

i just bought 15 amp breaker a month ago and on the ceramic old wooden board, put one 15 amp breaker conected to an earth , (which is just a green wire stuck in the ground out side the shed or house) then you can run three core, to a bunch of double power points

now if im a dumb cunt and trip it out i'll still be alive after a little retard dance

Atleast after the little retard dance youl be more aware of wat ya doing next time.. before you had the 15 amp breaker put in was it originally 3 core wiring to the ceramic fuses or 2 core.
Ahh fuk it think ill give it a miss its all above my pay grade probs burn me house down from the old wiring gettin pushed past its limits

if that’s a rental it’s not legal. You could get out of paying rent until it’s up to code if you report that to the ombudsmen. Being 2 core you risk burning the place down because there’s No way to detect leakage from a broken/burnt cable. I’ve pulled plenty of 2 core out of houses and yet to find one without bubbles in the insulation

the whole house needs to be rewired. I wouldn’t grow there. That’s a fire risk and a half. Especially once you start talking about adding grow equipment to A circuit

there’s no earth to the house. Run all the 3 core you want. Still needs a earth spike and it wired into the board after the meter for 3 core to actually work.
