Cool ya tits lads i know ya just tryna help out an that but i aint no sparky. From wat i know it is not illegal to have the old ceramic style circuts in place Yea theres no rcb or rcbo's on the power system i can see but far as me saying the whole house is still run on the old 2 core wiring im not 100% as ive never looked threw the roof or anywhere we did have a sparky out here one day an he was bangin on about how he had to redo a heap of crap to the wiring sytem whether or not is was done or not is a different story. all i know is the wiring outside to potential grow site is 2 core an the owner wouldn be able to have the house threw a real estate if the house wasn up to scratch. End of the day it was only a question to see if current electrical system could handle it..

there are plenty of death traps being rented out when they shouldn’t. I’ve regularly been in asbestos filled houses being rented out and that’s definitely illegal. If people don’t report it it doesn’t get fixed. but yeah in Australia it’s illegal for any rental property to not have earth leakage on the property and the owner would be liable for any injuries or death that occurs there. He ain’t liable for your possession but.

Dont get me started on a asbestos the joints riddled but from wat ive read its only illegal if the asbestos is exsposed or damaged in a way that it could cause harm to someone. Allot of owners will just simply cover the problem up instead of payin someone to remove an dispose of it properly.. What does an earth leakage wiring look like. Agreed that allot of older houses in australia are death traps
