Any have experience with a 2x2 tent?

I’m looking to get another tent. For hiding purposes and move smaller plants so they can grow while other aren in flower. I’m thinking of getting two
Mars hydro 600. My question is how many plants do you think I can fit in there? How big of pots?

For veg? 36 plants I solo cups

Maybe u should put a shelf in it and do 2 layers seen as u are getting 2 lights...so 72 plants

but those leds are quite shit, just saying

I only wanted led because ive been led to believe growth is slower & helps keep space between nodes smaller so i can veg ladies longer while my others flower in other tent

For a veg room Id go CFL's....A good LED for a 2 x 2 would be well over 150 pounds...........Timber 2VL is $300 US money, thats a "good" LED.

check diyleduk mate. That will give you an idea of what good LEDs go for. Take note it takes half the amount of light to veg than flower.

Or build your own, most of us do that at some point.

I grow in a 2x2. I currently have two plants going in mine because I needed both up and down in my supply. One is mostly indica and the other is mostly sativa. In the future I'm only going to be doing one at a time though. It's painfully obvious that they're fighting for light and the leaves touching the mylar are getting bent out of shape.

has anyone built a wooden grow closet? everyone seem to be using grow tents on here. you can get real crazy and frame off a section of your house and put up drywall. i seen it done on a smaller scale, a wooden panel in the bathroom was the access, had a little mirror fixed to it so it didnt draw attention. just enough room to start off some small plants to be put outdoors.

I built a wooden 2x2 in my closet. Everything rides easy, the thing I have to say is that temperature may be an issue if you don’t route the air away from the closet. If not youll be pulling 80°F back into your box and heating the house up while your at it.

Why would you do that? you can veg a 2x2 with HLG 65, $100.
