A little heads up: led-tech.de have got samsung lm301bs in 2700k 90cri, available in strips and boards. Anyone interested? If so i advice to not sleep too much on it cause i know their stock is at least half gone, a friend bought it. Im not in this time cause the storm left me barescraped with urgent house repairs needed and i also got some blux coming in with that spectrum.
Just a heads up....
Jesus those guys have a serious range of products.
Been a while since I popped my head in there.

Cant find the 90cri strips though, could you link them Rocket?

I think you have to write them an email. This iis what their IG account gave me:
René:
RL@LED-TECH.DE

There seems to be many options:
Strips: white and red supp (the red supp are fairly extreme, almost HGL like spectrum)
Boards: both white and with red supp on a separate channel. One of the most complete all in one boards available. Would love to see these coupled with prawns high lights.

Are you a euro peep corey? I always assumed stateside

@ronintank Have you checked these out?
Very good price if you're State Side

4 of them would be nice in a 2 x 4 tent or 8, even better! lol

so would this power supply be the right one?

Oh yeah. sitting state side in the legal mitten state 12 plants per household.
I have looked at those 288 v1 boards and thought what was wrong with them at the low price.
I have access to alum. plate and angle to make the mounting.
There is nothing wrong with them other than they are not the newest hotness 301 diodes. Look up some 561 vs 301 comparisons and I think youll be surprised.

Go for it! The new hlg v1 prices makes them completely price comparable to the alis, especially since theres no import taxes for stateside peeps. Imo, Its much better to figure out a way to get even coverage than go for less board with toptop diodes but less boards, harder driven and higher up. The meijiu fotop board on a 240 w driver easily covered a 4x2 aprox at ours; this setup (if you do 2 separate alu sheets) willl have more diodes than a fotop and better spread. For low watts per board a 48A driver will work fine,, youll have better output.

For this wattage per board the voltage is close enough to 48 that a voltage dimming hlg240-48A (or even better 48AB) would work, you just beed to adjust up voltage slightly. This will give you more light out of the boards. 54V driver will have plenty of voltaage over head but lower amps output.

The timer is set for the 730 strips. They’ll be on for 3 mins at lights out. I’m curious to see how fast the flip will be with this. My boards will be on for 14 and off for 10. This should be fun.

Especially if it means youre getting 2 boards instead of one. Also, hlg do some quality shit. Id say this hlg deal, on half power is probs one of the best deals available for a diy friendly US peep, with access to some alusheet.
I'm really surprised they haven't sold out yet. Makes me wonder how many they had sitting there when they released the v2. Glad I got mine before they were gone though!

Every thing is on order. When the parts come I will post a couple pics of the build. Got extra duct tape for the hanger.
Thanks so much to all that helped.
